Better Luck Next Time
It was when Sweeney Todd died, that Kat and Brian came back. Nick was snoring lightly and didn't wake up when Brian put on the lights. I saw something flash before Brian's eyes buit it quickly faded. Then, he just walked away, leaving Katriana there. "Momma, who is that?" she asked quietly, referring to Nick.
"My friend hun. You know how Uncle Gary was?" I asked.
"Yeah. He liked boys," she said. I nodded.
"Well, Nick is just like that," I said. Kat's eyes lit up.
"That's good momma, but you should go say sowwy to poppa. He's sad," she said.
"Why?"
"Because, he saw Uncle Nick here," she said matter of factly. I blinked. How could she know that?
I nudged Nick with my foot. Hard. He woke up quickly and glared at me, rubbing his most likely bruised ass. I smirked then smiled innocently, batting my eyelashes.
"Won't woke on me," he muttered.
"Fine, then get the hell out,"
"Sheesh, can't even take rejection,"
"Funny. Now, the movie finished and I'd prefer not to hear your snoring,"
"I don't snore!"
"and I don't eat," I retorted. Nick opened his mouth to say something but I stopped him.
"Just go please?" I asked. He nodded and within a few minutes, left. I sighed. Now, I apparantly am supposed to fix things with Brian. As if it wasn't screwed up enough. Just then, Brian came back downstairs.
"Look, Bri--" he held up a hand to stop me.
"Don't worry about it," he said. I leaned back, shocked.
"What?"
"Yeah, I mean, we're not attached. Only by Katriana, anyways. So, I have no right to dictate your relationships,"
"Right but--"
"No, don't worry. Since you can have a relationship, then so can I," he said. I stood silent. He didn't understand, did he? Suddenly, the doorbell rang, "And there's my date,"
The door opened and I swore I could've lunged at the bitch who Brian called his 'date'. There stood Michelle, smirking. My eyes narrowed and I swallowed.
Looking at Brian, my eyes cold, I said, "I guess we've come to a decision," Even though it's only you I want, " so have fun on your date, Syn,"

I walked away and sighed. Look what happened.He smiled at me, being nice to me, treating me like when we were together, and I fell again for him. Now, I just happen to have a guy friend over and he shatters whatever hopes i had of us getting back together. What's actually sad is that, I know I still love him despite everthing.
I looked outside from the bedroom window and of course, as fate may have it, saw Brian and Michelle kissing.
He's not quite as charming as he may seem
