Zane's phone rings "Sorry Mr. Torence but she fainted"

"Yes, of course when she's up to it sir.Goodbye"

"Alex..." I here Maritz mumbled

"Yeah, sis I'm here for you"

"Is he still here?"

"Yeah"

~*Maritza POV*~

"Great" I say in my mind

I sit up with the help of Alex

"Hello Mr.Anderson I'm Maritza Ortiz" I say and stick my hand out for him to shack

He shakes my hand and said " You okay?"

"Yeah, it's always been my dream" I say and feel my eyes get watery. Alex put his hand on my shoulder and squeezes.

I reach down and grab my star shaped necklace and grab it with my right hand

I close my eyes and felt the tear fall.When i open and see Zane looking at me with a confused look

I sigh and started to explain " My best friend well I considered her my sister and i were wanting to one day sing together and tour the world togeter. She died about 8 months ago due to a drive by. I miss her" I said and felt Rian wipe my tears and pull me into a hug

I hugged him back and wiped the remaining tears.

"I honestly don't know what to say. But stay strong Mari"

I nodded I didn't really comprehend that he called me Mari until a minute later. But just shrugged it off

"What made you decide to sign me?" I asked curious

"The guys contacted me a month ago and told me about you. They also sent me a recording of you singing, and after hearing the crowd react to you singing a couple minutes ago I knew that I had to sign you."

I gave a nod and glanced at them. They all had smiles on there faces and were laughing. I smiled glanced at all of them and mouthed thank you. They nodded and I glanced back at Zane

He pulled out a folder and said "This Is for you to look at and either send or fax it back by Thursday if you decide to sign it. If not things can be changed"

"Thank you Zane" I said with a smile on my face after that day I signed and sent the papers back to there office and offically became a member of Universal Records
