Chapter 40: It's Not Like He'll Remember...
*Rachel's POV*
I hung around the parking lot for a while, not wanting to disturb Lou and Syn and not wanting to go anywhere near Gerard...or the rest of My Chem for that matter.
"Hey Rach" I looked up, Bert had just turned up behind me.
"Hey Bert" I mumbled, scuffing my sneaker against the ground miserably.
"What's wrong, you look like someone just rode over your dog" Bert said, I managed a small smile and carried on looking at the ground.
"I guess you haven't seen Gerard lately" I said looking up at Bert, he looked blank for a second.
"He didn't?" he finally said in disbelief.
"Yip, he did" I said, raising my eyebrows, Bert sighed and ran a hand through his long hair.
"Where's Lou? Does she know?" Bert asked.
"Yeah she knows, she's with Syn at the moment" I replied, kicking a stone around on the ground.
"I'm gonna go talk to him" Bert said suddenly, beginning to walk towards the My Chem bus.
"It's no use, it's not like he'll remember it" I said....
