Amy. She's an outcast. She always has been, since her mum's drowning last year and her newly discovered musical genius talent, just like her mother's. Born on the road, she has a strange hate for travelling for more than an hour, Just like her mother. She goes to school in Auckland, But she lives 355 days a year with her Aunt on Waiheke Island, Just like her mother did when she was Amy's age. The other ten days of the year, she spends time with her long-term hospital-patient dad in Nelson, Just like her mother, Jessica did, when she was fourteen.
Then a new family shows up in town, and suddenly the ferry service between Waiheke and Devonport at 6:30 in the morning threatens to close... Is it just by coincidence?
