Lyrical Love Letter

The Charming Wh...

“C’mon, Jonnie open the door!” Missy whined jiggling the handle to the spare bedroom of her home where Jonnie Posen had taken refuge. Juliette leaned against the wall, silent, while Missy continued to try and coax Jonnie out of the room. But Juliette knew better, asking Jonnie nicely about anything got you no where—unless you were Juliette Barkalow that is.

“Jonnie open the door.” Juliette grunted, making no move to help Missy unlock the door.

”You call yourself a Barkalow?! Maryland has made you weak, Dawson!” she yelled from the opposite side of the door. Juliette’s had turned in the direction of the door, her brows furrowed, as she gave the door a reproachful look.

“Get out of there you cowardly bitch before I call Daddy and tell him all about Sir Matthew, king of Jonnie Posen’s bed!” Juliette yelled threateningly, suddenly severely annoyed with her friend. Juliette had spent two and a half months trying to convince everyone her last name was Dawson, only to have her best friend throw it back in her face—it was low, even for Jonnie. It was silent for a moment and Missy looked doubtful but Juliette just rested her arms on her hips smugly, already knowing that Jonnie would unlock the door in:

Jonnie was scowling at Juliette as she emerged from the confines of the dark bedroom.

“Why did you bail?” Missy questioned confusion laced with care defined her voice.
Jonnie was silent, simply glaring at Juliette.

“She fled,” Juliette began in a sniped annoyed voice, “because Jonnie has a track record with musicians. I believe many of her escapades describe her as a ‘Charming Whore’. Little Miss. Flee-The-Scene, has basically toyed with every musician she’s ever been in contact with. They either end up writing a song about her or breaking their guitar over her. Not to mention the few she has made unable to reproduce. I made the ‘Charming Whore‘ promise not to even think about it with the boys around. I told her I’d chase her out of town if she tried anything stupid.” Missy threw Juliette a doubtful look.

“She’s not exaggerating unfortunately—about the chasing me out of town part anyway.” Jonnie grumbled.

“You promised me, J.” Juliette began, her voice sharp. Jonnie gazed at her curiously,

“Why the hell are you being shut a bitch about it?”

“Because I’ve seen the damage you’ve done. I won’t let you ruin those boys, Jonnie. If they fail I’ll be damned if I let it be at the hands of a girl. They deserve to have their music heard, they deserve to be known. I won’t let you break a part that band.”

“What makes you think I would?”

“Please,” Juliette scuffed. “It was your specialty.” Jonnie only scowled in response.

“I’m never going to hear the whole story to the stories you’re hinting to am I?” Missy questioned doubtfully.

“No probably not.” Jonnie smirked.

“No one ever tells me anything.” Missy pouted and Juliette could only laugh in response.

“Alright, I’m out.” Juliette sighed finally after several minutes of silence between the friends.

“Where are we going?” Jonnie smirked and Juliette threw her a look. She knew Jonnie was going stir crazy with the lack of ‘fun and entertainment’. But Juliette had warned Jonnie before; they weren’t in Manhattan anymore.

I’m going to go give my boyfriend some loving. You know since I’ve been hanging out with you assholes for two weeks and I just bitched and bailed on his band practice.”

“Fine go fuck your boyfriend,” Jonnie grunted “You’re no fun anymore.” But the smirk that followed told Juliette that she was joking. “Bye bitch!” She called after her as Juliette headed for the door.

“Bye you Charming Whore!”

My day sucks, I'm honestly stressed to the limit, I have a headache, my mom keeps yelling at me, and I have so much pressure on me right now not to mention I have a college-stress-induced migraine coming on. To top it all off i got reported for this story. Thanks for the cherry on the hell-day.

Comments--I don't even care right now.

I went to post this story and This popped up. Not going to lie, it made me smile a little bit. Even though he won the douche bag of the year award for what he did to Taylor.
