Lost Voice

This is a short freewrite piece I did on a writing prompt (Prompt was the title) for a LiveJournal community. My muse left shortly after I wrote the first and last paragraph, so it doesn't convey quite what I meant for it to, or quite how. I think I'll come back to it next time I'm feeling creative and re-work it some, hopefully into a poem.
