Not So North Shore

Chicago's North Shore. For many, a preppy heaven filled with Range Rovers, teenagers who look like models for Abercrombie and Fitch, pushy parents, and the famous Northwestern University. For me, the North Shore was a hell only made slightly better by writing about it. The following story, I feel, gives a good description of what it is and was like growing up in one of Illinois' most affluent areas.
