These Bright Lights Have Always Blinded Me

Today was great Chelsea was out of the hospital and everybody was having band practice. Tom and Bill invited Leila and I over to see them play.

“So does Chelsea know you guys are Tokio Hotel yet?” I asked walking back from the kitchen where I was getting Leila milk.

“Ich weiß nicht,” Tom replied walking over to me.

“What?” I asked as he hugged me.

“I don’t know,” he laughed.

“Yeah no German talk around me,” I said holding Leila’s hand.

“Okay,” Bill laughed.

“So what all are we doing today?” I asked while sitting on the couch.

“Nothing,” Leila said climbing in my lap.

“Well that something Ali would say,” Tom said rolling his eyes.

“Hey! I take offense to that,” I said folding my arms.

“Mommy he is kidding,” Leila laughed.

“I know but it’s funny,” I said.

“Oh,” she said rolling her eyes with the word.

She may the face I cant forget the trace of pleasure or regret

“Yes,” I said answering my phone.

“Hey beautiful,” I heard Craig's voice and I began to smile.

“Hey,” I began, “What are you up to?”

“Just got done with band practice and I want to see my two lovely girls,” he said like a little kid.

“Okay I will be there soon,” I smiled.

“When?”

“I am leaving now,” I said hugging Bill and Tom and picking Leila up.

“Okay bye,” he said hanging up.

“Bye love you guys,” I said to Bill.

“Love you too,” Tom said kissing my cheek.
