Just Think Happy Thoughts

Emily used to be different.

She used to be what her mother wanted;a popular little girly girl who loved the dollies and the dresses, then the makeup and the cheerleading.
She used to be what her father adored;a sweet little girl he could push on the swings and tickle and spoil.
She used to even be what her big brother wanted;a fun loving girl he could play with, and would let him protect her from the "big baddies," then one of the most popular people in school.

She's not like that anymore.
She's quiet. She doesn't listen to the "right" music, or wear the "right" clothes. She only has one friend, but he's not what her mother would consider to be "the right kind."
With everyday that passes. Emily drifts further and further from her family, her friend, her old life.
And she drifts into depression.
The only thing she cares for anymore...is the music.
