Cyberspace Romance

Plans

Zoey placed the last bit of her clothing into her suitcase and then zipped it up. Everything was ready for her trip to Pennsylvania tomorrow. She walked out of her bedroom and then stopped by her brother's door, knocking quietly before walking in. Jacob was sitting at the computer chair surfing the net, as Ryder tossed clothing from his closet.

"Are you boys packed?" Zoey ask.
"I am, Zoe. We're only staying two days right?" Jacob ask.
"Yeah, two days. But make sure to pack extra; anything could happen." She said.
"Sis, have you seen my black element t-shirt?" Ryder ask.
"Did you check the dryer?" Zoey questioned with a smile.
"So where are you and Brandon going to while Jacob and I are at the Note?" Ryder ask
"I'm not sure." Zoey replied honestly-- they hadn't covered the details of what they was doing.
"Why not go to the note too?" Jacob suggested.
"Nah, I don't think so." Zoey replied. "He owns a bar, I doubt he wants to go out to a bar on his nights off. Plus, I don't want to offend him by asking him to another person's bar."
"So you haven't even mentioned the note to him?" Ryder ask.
"Nope" Zoey said tossing Ryder a pair of clean socks.

Once she made sure her brother was packed, she walked out of his room and back into her bedroom. She picked up her suit case and packed it into the living room and placed it on the couch. They was leaving at eight in the morning, and she couldn't help but to feel completely nervous. She sit down on the couch and figured she could watch some television until Brandon called.

Bam laughed as Novak fell on his ass. He was attempting to do an 900 trick in his indoor skate park-- but was failing miserably.

"Come on, Novak. You gonna let a skater like Tony Hawk show you up?" Bam teased.

Novak attempted the trick once again, and failed once again. He then just tossed his skateboard across half the room and remained on the ground, clutching onto his head.

"Why don't you give it a try millionaire?" He dared Bam.
"Cause I'm not a dumbass." Bam said laughing.
"Yeah yeah yeah." Novak said. "So, you're going through with meeting that girl tomorrow?" He questioned Bam.

Bam couldn't help but to smile thinking about Zoey. He had made plans to meet up with her tomorrow-- even though he still hadn't told her anything about who he really was. He was actually hoping she would go a bit fan girl on him and forget the fact that he had lied.

"Yeah, I'm meeting up with her tomorrow night." Bam said.
"Bro, don't you think you're making a mistake here?" Novak ask. "She doesn't even know who you really are!" He said.
"She knows who I am. . . just not who the public knows me as."
"Bam. . . who are you kidding here?" Novak ask.
"She'll understand." Bam said nodding his head to himself.
"Yeah, I'm sure she's going to understand how you lied to her for over a month." Novak said.

Bam just walked away.

"Where are you going?" Novak hollered from across the room.
"Home." Bam said as he walked outside and got inside the hummer.

Zoey was sitting there watching Rock of Love Bus and chowing down on Strawberries when her home phone starting ringing. She muted the television and then reached over and picked up her phone, smiling when she saw the familiar Pennsylvania number blinking.

"Hey Bran." She answered.
"Hey Zoe. What's up?" He ask.
"Not much, what are you doing?"
"Nothing, I just got home actually, I was out with Nov again."

Bam had re-nick named all his friends so Zoey wouldn't catch on. Basically he had just shortened most of their nick names. Novak was Nov, Dico -Dic, Dunn was just Ryan, and Frantz was Joe, any other names he just kind of pulled out of his ass.

"Sounds fun."
"It wasn't. Shouldn't you be in bed? You've got a trip ahead of you tomorrow!"
"I know, I know. Speaking of the trip. Any plans for tomorrow night?" She ask.

Bam smiled, and then ran his fingers through his hair. He wanted to take her somewhere nice-- somewhere people wouldn't be encase she totally flipped out when she saw him.

"I know this great Sushi place." He said knowing it would be dead on a Saturday night.
"Awesome. I can call you tomorrow when I get in West Chester for the address."
"Yeah, that'll work out. Are you nervous?" He questioned her, praying she was as nervous as he was.
"Not really-- I don't have anything to hide. No skeletons in my closet." She joked with a giggle.

Bam chuckled a bit-- not at her joke, but at the irony of her statement. Sure, she didn't have anything to hide. But him on the other hand had everything hidden.

"What if I'm not what you expect, Zoe?" He questioned her.
"Bran, I'm not that into physical appearance, if that's what you're asking me." She said.
"No, no. I mean. . . never mind, I guess that was what I was asking." He said nearly choking on his words.

She laughed at his nervousness and soon ended her phone call with the excuse of the trip. She told him goodnight, as she did every other night and then hung up the phone. She stretched and then looked down at her suitcase laying in the floor and wondered if Kristen was right.

What if he was some weirdo from the internet? What if he was some old man sitting behind a computer lurking the internet looking for any willing young girls?

She shook her head at the thought. Brandon was perfect in every single way-- there was no way he could be flawed to her. Like she had told him earlier-- physical appearance really didn't matter to her much. What mattered was on the inside, and he seemed to be perfect on the inside.

She opened her brother's door slowly, and looked in on the sleeping Ryder and Jacob. She smiled, as she slowly pulled it shut and walked off to her bedroom. She couldn't wait to meet Brandon. She just knew he was perfect for her. Even though they hadn't discussed being in a relationship yet; she was positive he knew her feelings towards him. As she assumed he had the same feelings towards her.

If he didn't; then why was he wasting her time by talking to her as much as he did? She just wondered how they would make it work if they did indeed hit it off this weekend, with them both being from different states. That was her biggest worry, though Bam's worries were much different than her's.
