Once Upon a Time

Much like the awaited rains of Spring, or the cherry blossoms that fell to the soft grass in Summer; this ending was inevitable. There was no way that anyone could have stopped it. Whether they changed their actions, or even turned back time- Things would have still ended exactly like this. The wind blowing fiercely against the heavy fog of the early morning. Rain pouring from the sky and flooding the busy streets. This was supposed to be the dream vacation. Instead, it was a horrible trail of events that were truly regretted. There was no around it, though. This whole Summer was completely, undoubtedly, one-hundred-percent inevitable.
