Scarlett or Crimson? The Façade
Chapter 1
Before everything changed it was great. But, on my 8th birthday there was a fire. Thankfully, everyone in my family had lived and I was not an orphan. Although, I had gone unconscious during the fire. All I can remember is the fire and smoke everywhere making it harder to breathe and see.
When I woke up I was shocked to see my reflection. I had red tips in my beautiful black hair! No one could explain how the red got there but obviously we were all shocked.
The house had not been badly damaged and the fact that we were rich helped a lot. Of course I was at some point altered from the fire. My fire had burned down and I am too careful and precautious now. Some would say that is a good thing and some can argue that that is bad.
When I was fourteen, I began singing and playing the piano and guitar. At a carnival, a man had seen me singing and offered me a deal. I made a demo and eventually became famous. But there is always a price to pay.
