I Nick Jonas Hate the Bass Player

I woke up the next morning in my bed. I turned my alarm clock off and tried to get up but was thrown back. I felt someone's curly hair and warm cheeks snuggle into my neck…it was Nick. I rolled over to face him and kissed him. He smiled knowing I was giving into his charm.

"I missed that so much" he whispered
"You have no idea what it was like to kiss David and see you" I said
"Huh, Miley was cute until I saw your face on her body…then she was hot" he said
"HEY!" I said throwing a pillow at him

I got up and went to the bathroom, did my business and brushed my teeth. When I got out I didn't see Nick.

"Nick? Where are you?" I asked

No answer…

"Nick? Oh well!" I said

I sighed and walked over to my closet. Opening the door I stood there deciding what to wear. Deciding was the hardest part. I set everything out on my bed when I felt a hand go around my foot. I screamed and jumped back.

"Oh, what was that?" I yelled

I heard chuckling and laughing under my bed.

"Nick, I'm going to kill you!" I said running around to the other side of the bed.

I then saw Nick pop up on the other side of the bed and smiled.

"You can't catch me!" he said
"Yes I can" I said jumping on the bed

I totally missed the bed and ended up landing on Nick. I fell on top of him and I heard the thud of his head hitting the floor. I was laying on top of him and we both just started laughing.

"That was funny" he said
"I know!" I said smiling

Nick snaked his hand around my jaw line and I lowered my head to kiss him. He slowly pecked my lips and smiled.

"I love you" he said
"I love you too"

I got up and took my clothes to the bathroom and showered. I was in the shower washing my hair when I hear Nick outside the shower.

"So, I was wondering what you're going to do about David" Nick said

I stuck my head out of my polka dotted shower curtain and looked at him.

"Well, I was planning on breaking up with him but not right now. He's in the hospital and I can't do that to him" I said
"Ok, I understand." He said
"Well what about Miley. She lives with you" I said
"I don't know yet" he said
"Nick, don't drag her on. From a girl's point of view, just get it done; don't drag it out!" I said going back to washing my hair
"Whatever you're washing your hair with it smells amazing!" he said
"It's Raspberries. It's from Herbal Essences." I said

I popped the bottle out of the curtain and handed it to him. I watched him and he just opened it and smelled it, closing his eyes and smiling. I finished everything and Nick was still in the bathroom with me.

"Hey Nick, can you hand me the towel on the rack?" I asked

He ran to the towel rack and handed me the towel.

"Thanks babe" I said
"Do you need me to leave?" he asked anxious
"No, it's ok" I said

I took the towel and wrapped it around my waist and threw the shower curtain open. I saw why Nick looked worried…he was seeing me partially naked.

"Oh sorry" I said about to run to the bedroom
"No it's fine" he said

He came to me and hugged me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make it awkward" he said
"No, you're not" I said kissing him

Later that day at the hospital, I was sitting my David's side and was watching him breathe. I really didn't feel a spark now that I'm with Nick. Yeah, I'm still with David but hopefully not for long.

"Hey" I heard

I looked over to see Nick standing in the doorway

"Hey" I said
"Is he awake?" he asked
"No, he's sleeping" I said
"Oh" he said pulling up a chair and sitting down next to me

I just sat there and Nick and I managed to move close enough to each other so our legs were touching and his arm was on the back of the couch. Suddenly David couched and we separated…he was awake.

"Hey beautiful!" he said quietly
"Hey, you ok?" I asked
"WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?" David attempted to yell
"He's here for a peace offering" I said
"Whatever, you're mine and he's never going to get you" he said

Nick and I looked at each other and we both thought the same thing…

"If only he knew" was what I thought

"Just listen to him" I said
"Fine. You've got 1 minute…go!" he said crossing his arms

"Ok, well you and I both know that what we did was wrong. We shouldn't have gotten physical about Laura. She didn't want us fighting each other; we should be fighting for her love and affection. I know that you're with her and I'm completely jealous but I just want you to know, you win. I'll lay off of her and won't pressure her to be with me. I'm sorry dude, it was wrong." He said

David sat there and he was being retarded about the whole situation.

"Apology NOT ACCEPTED!" he said
"Why?" I asked
"Because you're mine and he's not getting you no matter what!" he said
"Whatever David! I'm not only yours, I have friends and family and I have the greatest best friend ever…Nick. You need to accept him" I said getting up and leaving

Nick followed me out of the room and into the elevator. As the doors shut I slammed into a kiss to him. He brought me closer and we started laughing.

"You're a good actor" he said
"You're an awesome actor and kisser!" I said smiling
"Where do you want to go?" he asked
"Back to my house" I said smiling again
"After we visit Ryan" he said
"Of course!" I said

We stepped out onto Ryan's floor and suddenly I saw her walking out with normal clothes and with her mom.

"RYAN" I yelled
"LAURA!" she yelled back as we ran towards each other

"I missed you" I said hugging her
"I missed you more Laura. Thank you so much" she said
"Just promise me one thing" I said backing away
"Sure…anything" she said
"Don't ever stop being my best friend!" I said
"Promise" she said hugging me again

Ryan pulled away and saw Nick.

"Laura why is Nick here with you?" she asked with one eyebrow cocked
"I'll explain later" I said
"No explain now!" she said
"Ryan I have to go but really I'll explain later!" I said running away

Nick followed me and we made it back to the elevator. He kissed me this time and smiled at me.

"I'm glad you're standing up for me!" he said
"What? And not hating you?" I asked
"Yeah" he said
"Well you're welcome" I said walking out of the elevator
"Hey where are you going?" he asked as we walked out of the hospital
"Home" I said unlocking the car

Nick and I laid in my back yard looking up at the sky for the next couple hours after.
We were chewing on bazooka bubble gum too and just acting like we were 12 again. I changed into my classic summer wear and had my hair somewhat curly.

I looked over at Nick and he was looking at me. We just smiled and I started blowing a bubble but it popped right in my face.

"Oh, that sucks!" I said laughing
"No, it's cute" he said

I was trying to get the gum off of my face when Nick helped me get it all off. He leaned in and kissed me again just happy to be in each others presence. I got up and started running around the backyard.

"Laura what are you doing?" Nick asked giggling
"Skipping around the yard. What, you don't do it?" I asked standing still then going back to skipping
"Not really but with you-" he said grabbing hold of me and staring into my eyes
"I do!" he said smiling

He picked me up and ran around with me in his arms. I kept squealing because he'd throw me up then catch me again repeating it over and over. He put me down and we ended up playing leap frog, again acting four but as I I jumped over him he caught me and I fell on the ground.

"AHH!" I yelled as I fell
"You ok?" he asked
"Yeah" I said smiling

Nick leaned down and kissed me making me think of it as the infamous Spiderman and Mary Jane kiss. It was passionate and loving plus it was fun.

"Laura I got you some-" I heard

Nick and I separated and saw David standing at my porch door with flowers. Nick and I looked at each other and I gulped.

"Oh, I guess I interrupted something" David said

We sat there in silence…it was awkward now.

"So Laura, how long has this been going on?" David asked
"It was one kiss David" Nick said
"Excuse me, I asked Laura" David said
"David it was just this once" I said starting to get upset
"Sure, well guess what we're done. You did this to me before and I'm not letting you back in. You're a cheating bitch! You don't know what you do to guys hearts when you do that stuff. Laura, my lung collapsed for you and I donated blood for your best friend because I loved you! How could you? You know what don't answer that!" he said throwing the flowers on the ground

"David" I yelled chasing after him

By the time I got to him, he was speeding off in his car…I guess we were over…but why did it hurt? I walked back near the house to see Nick standing in the front yard. I just looked at him and he opened his arms to hug me. I hugged him tight but I was glad that it was me and Nick…now Nick just needs to tell Miley.

I was sitting on my bed doing my dread reading I forgot to do…Macbeth. How could I have been so irresponsible and forget to read that book! I'm so far behind now! I was finishing the last act when I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in" I said still reading
"Laura, we need to talk" I heard Nick say
"What's up?" I asked sitting up from my book
"This" Nick said pointing to the paper

Yes, they cheated on both of their partners with each other. The two dated for 6 months on tour but broke up this June. The next day at school Ryan was there and it was really long. Nick dropped me off and right as I stepped out of his car I was dumped with sprite.

I looked back at Nick…he didn't see if because he was talking on his cell. I walked into the main hall and I was spit at, gum thrown, and cussed at within 5 minutes.

As I stood at my locker I saw Ryan come up with the girls.

She slapped me across the face not once not twice but 3 times. I looked up at her and held my cheek.

"And don't think about going public about this encounter because I've got more dirt than you can think of on you!" she said walking away

I stood there at my locker and re-opened it and stuck my head in it, banged it back and forth and cried. What the hell did I get myself into?
