The Battlefield

The voices haunt her every single minute of every single day. They don't leave. Sometimes the only way she can get them to shut up is by covering her ears and singing at the top of her lungs. Of course that effect is extremely temorary and the voices come back the second she stops. She can't do it in front of people because it is considered childish and she doesn't want to be put in some sort of institute so these are rare moments. She hardly ever gets any peace. She would do anything for peace. She craves Shalom, nothing missing nothing broken. To her that is just a crazy dream. A dream almost as unreal to her as her dream of being joyful. She screams into her pillow, tears flowing. This is her journey to get that peace she desires with all of her heart.
