Red Death

~ROGUE P.O.V~
She looked down, DAMN! how come she has such an impact on me, no human girl has
ever before so why now and why her?
She seems so... i don't know it's hard to place it. To me she is like a mystery ready to be
solved, but how i don't know.
I watched her, feeling my dead heart beat, 'come on you best get home, you must be feeling
tired.'
She nodded and continued, i walked beside her one million questions going through my
head. I had never been so unsure about anyone before and now when she comes along i
feel like i've been knocked down and made to find out the hard way.
I growled to myself, frustration settling in, why is she just soo complicated?
'So what are you doing tomorrow?' i asked.
'Work,' she mumbled.
'I guess i'll see you at the book store then.'
She shook her head, 'No not the bookstore.'
'Oh?' I questioned.
'I work two jobs,' she said but it sounded as if her voice was guarded and wouldn't talk
about the other job.
'I see,' i murmerred.
They turned a corner and stopped in front of a red bricked house, 'well this is my house,'
she said.
'Ok well talk to again another time?' i questioned.
Something flickered behind her eyes and i didn't catch it, damn how did i miss it?
'Yeah sure... I guess i can give you my number,' she said heisitantly.
I smiled slightly and waited for her to tell me, instead she went into her house and indicated
for me to come in.
I walked into the house and stood in the hallway.
'In here!' she called out.
I walked around the corner into the kitchen where she was scribbling something down on a
piece of paper. She tore it and then gave it to me, our fingers brushing. I looked at the
number and mesmorised it tucking into my pocket, 'Thanks.'
She smiled slightly and looked down at the floor, 'its ok.'
'Ok well talk to you later then,' i said and turned to go.
'Yeah sure no problems.'
I walked out of the door and out onto the street, mesmorising the street name as well. I
would burn the piece of paper later.
