Madalyn Rae Edwards never did believe in love. Maybe at one point in her early youth, when her parents were actually a happily married couple, but that had long since changed. She was now eighteen years old, a senior in high school, and suffered from depression. Music had always been her way to escape the real world; it offered her a peace of mind, from the insanity that constantly surrounded her.
When her best guy friend, Brandon Jacobs, drags her to an All Time Low concert, her world is flipped upside down. Maddie finds herself in a situation she was never prepared for, and she begins to experience new emotions, that she never knew could exist in her.
