I'm sorry if it seems kinda random, me talking to you, but I saw you commenting on someone's profile, and your username was intriguing. Then I read your description of yourself, and you seemed pretty interesting. Yeah, I know, I'm weird for trying to randomly talk to people I don't know, but…hopefully you'll write back.

At first Ashley was a little startled, then she smiled. After all, she probably would have done the same thing. And her user name was a little strange. She paused over the reply button however. Instead, she clicked on the sender's user name. She had taken the time to read her profile. The least Ashley could do was return the gesture.

When she got to the profile page it was short and simple. It pretty much summed up Ashley's own feelings about those stupid About Me's too, though Ashley had forced herself to write one. It had been a painstaking task for her. Reading Layla's page decided her, and she returned to her inbox. She clicked on the message Light In The Tunnel had sent her and typed in her reply. Satisfied, Ashley clicked the send button.

Even after all that, however, Ashley wasn't really expecting a reply back. Sure it would be nice if she got one. She was all for making friends. Her user name may have been shy.is.who.i.am. but that didn't translate to loner like some people thought it did. Besides, it was always easier to talk to people you don't know for the first time at a place like this.
