Not Getting Excepted
Chapter 60
Normal POV
Today I got a letter from the school in New York. Everyone was really busy so I opened it and read it. I was rejected. I was super sad. In the letter it said they like my photos and that they would love to have me there but there’s not enough room. I ripped it up and threw it away so no one knew that I didn’t get in. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a glass and opened up a cabinet and took out some tequila. I poured some tequila into the glass and drank it straight. I know drinking at 4 in the afternoon is bad but I only had 2 full glasses of tequila. Then that was it. I walked into franks room and grabbed one of his guitars and started playing what I knew. I sang along. But it was bad. I laid down the guitar and fell asleep on the bed. I woke up at 10 pm and walked around the apartment. Frank wasn’t here. I called his phone but he didn’t answer. I hung up and just went into the living room and watched TV. Frank wasn’t home still so I went on the computer and checked my emails. Nothing important just greeting cards. I deleted them and then got off. I went back to bed after that. When I woke up frank was just quietly coming into the room.
“where were you all day and night” I said
“oh your up” he said
“yea I’m up so where were you” I said
“at Gerard’s he helped me on a song I’m working on” he said
“what no Kasey” I asked
“she was there but she was hanging with mikey and Chrissy” he said
“you couldn’t even call me and tell me where you were” I said
“sorry” he said
“sorry that’s it” I said getting out of the bed
“sorry I should have called” he said
"You know what…. I don’t believe you” I said and left the room. I went to the kitchen and got a cup of coffee and poured a bit of vodka in it. I put the vodka away and drank my coffee.
“Nat I’m sorry I don’t know what else to say” he said
“nothing Is fine” I said and walked away again but he followed
“Nat I’m gonna follow you till you tell me what’s wrong” he said
“nothing” I said and started to walk away again but frank grabbed me and pushed me lightly to a wall and kissed me. when we broke apart he said
“are you gonna tell me now”
“its not important” I said
“Natasha come on” he said
“fine I didn’t get excepted” I said
“oh babe I’m sorry” he said hugging me
“what other schools are there that you want to go to” he asked
“I don’t know” I said
“I’ll help you find another school if you want” he said
“thanks” I said quietly and went back into the kitchen and poured myself another glass of coffee. But this time it had no vodka in it.
