Let's Get Reckless.

Supriseful.

Texas? Are you _bleep_-ing kidding me?! This is kidnapping!

“I did not plan for this” I muttered, seeing the little T.V continue to tell us what was going on. Of course the Jonas Brothers would make us video instructions with themselves. I’ve learned they’re very ‘hands-on’ type guys. One thing I’ll admit to having in common with them.

“Me neither. But I always pack extra.” She smiled. Now that was something I had in common with her. I’ve been taught to never come unprepared. Ever.

“Oh,me too. Survival skills” I joked lightly laughing. Debby laughed too before listening to her i-pod. And then I found myself with nothing to do. I was annoyed by the fact that they thought this was okay. To take over 40 kids on their private airplane to their humungous Texas estate. But other than that, I was bored.

“Excited?” Joe came and squished his bottom into the small space beside me.

“Oh yes” I said rolling my eyes and looking out the window. Our limo was less crowded than them all. And knowing Joe, he would’ve been in the busiest one if he wasn’t last out of the house.

“C’mon. Wasn’t that surprise great?” He dug for more emotion.

“I’m actually not a fan of suprises.” I said now curling a lock of my hair around my finger. It was a habit.

“What?! That’s crazy. Surprises are the best thing. They’re all…surpriseful.” He exclaimed and I sighed.

“Yes, Joe I’m aware that you feel that way but I don’t. I don’t like being unprepared for stuff I don’t know about. Its very annoying.”

“Doesn’t like surprises,” He whispered to himself, shaking his head.

When we got out of the limos, there were cameras all over the place. I quickly put a lot of distance between Joe and I and walked alongside Debby. Two jets would take all of us. I still couldn’t see all who was here. A few familiar faces, but they all blended together and I gave up after a while.

“They’re gonna play James Bond movies on the plane! Awesome huh?” And Joe came up, obviously unaware I wanted him very far away out in public right now. He slung his arm around my shoulders and walked with me.

“Oh no no no!” I tried to slip away without tripping over Debby’s rolling suitcase, but the little space I had it wasn’t possible. I decided to stop and let him keep going so I could get away. One thing I didn’t need was media attention with Joe Jonas. Horrible, horrible. My first rumor involving the middle Jonas. Ugh.

“Whatcha doin’?” He asked seeing as I stopped and was no longer underneath his arm.

“Sorry,” I fake smiled,” Thought I dropped something."

By now we were by the plane steps so I quickly climbed on and took first seat I saw. A window seat. Big mistake. I hated window seats, and yes it had something to do with a fear of flying I pertained. Bumps in the air sent my stomach quivering. I tried to get up and move but Joe trapped me by taking the seat next to mine.

“Joe I need to move.” I said, speaking nicely so he would just do as I said.

“Why? You have the best seat.” He smiled.

“No. I have the worst. Now excuse me.”

“What? Oh! Jamie, you’re afraid of heights?”

“Does it matter? I just don’t want to sit here. And please don't say that so loud ” I was getting impatient with him. Couldn’t he just let me move already?

“No. Stay. I’ll be right here to help you. C’mon, it’s nothing to be afraid of or embarrassed about. Nick doesn’t like planes either.”

“I’m not embarrassed.” I muttered partly angry.

“Oh no, course not.” He said quickly,” But if you were. Its okay. I’ll do my best to make it easier.”

I looked up to see true concern and sincerity in his pretty brown eyes, a side I’ve never seen in him. Of course everytime he was near, I’d quickly reroute to avoid him-which seriously doesn’t work. He’s sneaky.

I sighed, defeated by his new turn of a likeable person and concentrated on my nerves. I figured it might take some time to get everyone situated so if I could fall asleep in time, the take off wouldn’t bother me so much. So I began to hum to myself till I drifted off, gripping the armrest still.
