I didn't text anyone. I didn't call anyone. I rolled over in my bed and shoved my head into my white pillow. I didn't want to talk to my best friends, the Staal’s. We were sitting at their house watching a movie.
"I'm never going to fall in love." Jordan said.
"Stop trying so hard." Marc said.
"Jordan are you blind. Ember has so much in common with you. She's blonde. She has blue eyes. She loves hockey and she can hang with guys better than you."
"I'd never date Ember. I just couldn't." he said laughing. I got up, walked down the steps and left. I cried the whole way home. I'm now safe inside my house. My mom and dad are back home in Australia but they keep a home here.
I heard a knock on my door. I yelled coming from my balcony and walked down the steps. I looked through the peephole, it was Jordan. I didn't really want to talk but he came over so I can't be rude. I unlocked the door. I opened it. He was soaking wet. I forgot it was raining. He stepped inside.
"Come with me." I said grabbing his hand and leading him to my room. I pulled out a big tee shirt and a pair of boxers that i used for shorts. I found a pair of jeans he left here when he had to change here because he was getting his apartment renovated.
"Why did you leave?"
"I just did." I said sitting on my bed. He was sitting at my desk on my black, wooden oak chair. My room is all white and the dressers and things are black. My wall had corkboard on it and pictures are everywhere. The Staal's have so many pictures with me.
"You could have at least told us you were ok." he said.
"I'm not."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm not ok Jordan."
"What made you leave?"
"What you said." I said.
"What did I say?"
"You said that you'd never date me."
"Why does that bother you?" he asked.
"Jordan......
