Tash's pov...

"Damn girl! Who was the hunk?" Kim asked
Emma looked at me and I nodded.
"That was Shaun, aka 'Mr popular' in my school. It seems he's taken a shine to Tash." Emma said.
Everyone looked at me and I pretended to be very interested in the pair of earrings that happened to be next to me.
"OMG!" Alyssa yelled
I looked at her and she continued "you like him"
I shook my head no.
They all nodded every single one of them. Even Emma. Hey wasn't she supposed to be on MY side?!
"NO I DON'T!" I yelled.
"Keep telling yourself that huni" Kim said sympathetically.
"I can't like him! He's in the popular crowd!" I yelled now confused.
"Do you like him?" Chris asked.
I sighed nodding my head.
"Okay, we can help" he said.
Again I sighed. My life has officially got complicated.
Emma and myself somehow managed to get home and inside my room.
"Tash are you okay?" Emma asked
I nodded and shrugged my shoulders at the same time.
"Why do you like him?" She asked.
"Erm, well... I don't know. I just don't think he's like the 'Mr popular' he's said to be."
She nodded her head in understanding. The rest of the night went in a blur of watching girly flicks, popcorn and chocolate.
The next thing I knew I was being roughly shaken awake with someone saying "Tash, come on we need to leave like now!"
I opened my eyes to see Emma hovering over me already in her uniform ready.
"Okay" I grunted as I made my way to the bathroom. I stumbled into the shower and within 15mins I had everything done. I stepped out and quickly shoved my hair into a messy bun and did my usual make up. After grabbing my clothes that were already in the bathroom I got changed and went back to my room. I grabbed my school bag and ran out of the front door with Emma trailing behind.
"Weird" I said "the car's normally here by now"
Just as I had finished saying that a car had pulled into the driveway, it wasn't just any car it was HIS car! Once parked Shaun got out and opened the doors for us both. My mouth that was now hanging open refused to close. Emma had noticed and walked over and shut my mouth for me before walking to the car and getting inside. I walked slowly to the passenger side and got inside.

Shaun's pov... (a/n - this is from where his pov was finished)
I had been thinking of a way to get Tash to forgive me, of course she had but I still felt I owed her. I began thinking back to all the things that had happened between us and she's only been here what 3days!
I remember seeing her timetable and noticing she had every class with me except Child Development and Dance. That answered all of my prayers in one moment. Then the dreadful asking her to be in my 'crowd' damn worst thing I could have done. She didn't agree as I knew she would but I wanted to spend more time with her. Selfish I know. I felt horrible once it had left my mouth. Then I walked her back to science back to her lovely science partner and her 'crowd' but Susan laid into me and something happened that I didn't expect Tash stood up for me. We then had Math, weird though we keep getting seated next to each other. But then I noticed something all the girls were looking this way and were giving Tash glares. If looks could kill springs to mind.
Lunch soon arrived and I couldn't help but look at her, but as though she felt someone looking at her she looked up and I quickly looked away, it went like that for all of lunch. Like normal no-one noticing what was happening on my table. Afterwards we had PE, again we were partnered up and I decided to take the time to get to know Tash. When I asked her about her family and home she tensed. I remember her words, '... well my house you don't really need to know about it. It's so not up to your standards.' It hurt. It hurt that she couldn't trust me. Then it fueled me to find out.
The next day I watched as she ran screaming up to the 7 unfamiler faces that were on the school grounds. The all talked and I don't know why but one boy walked up to Tash and hugged her tight and kissed the top of her head. I had to admit it I was jealous. Completely. Then the jealousy turned into anger. How could she say she was single!
She made her way into English after the bell went and yet again we were seated next to each other.
I couldn't help but glare at her.
'What!" She whisper shouted.
