Aurora: the dawning of a love
The beginning
“Look, all I’m saying is…” I started but got cut off by a guy tickling my friend Mirka from behind
“AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! RADO!” she screamed
“Hey Mirka!” he said while walking past us
“OMG I hate that guy!” Mirka said when he was gone
“And who was it?” I inquired further, noticing he wasn’t all bad looking
“Just Rado. He’s such a pig. My ex-classmate.” She mumbled, laughing a little
“Right… coz, he’s not so bad looking…” I started, stopping after a second, eyeing Mirka
“I could get you two to meet! You would totally be his type!!!” she said enthusiastically
“Well, I dunno… what if he doesn’t like me?” I started again, but she cut me off
“He can’t not like you! You’re totally his type! Just leave it up to me” she said, winking while we kept on walking down the stairs of school to go to the canteen. Oh yeah, just to mention, I go to this high school where there are SO MANY PEOPLE you could seriously get lost if you wanted to. I was starving, and made Mirka come with me. Hm, what a coincidence meeting him here. He really wasn’t that bad. But I should stop.
“So, what was up with Jacob?” Mirka asked, bringing me out of my thoughts
“OMG you know what he did? He totally told me he MISSED ME… as IF! I’m really beginning
to think he’s only making me think he likes me. And it really bugs me…” I rambled on and on as usual about Jacob, who just totally did not get the point. “I freaking told him I liked him, and he just totally started ignoring me! And then, he starts to talk to me ALL THE TIME and be all like “oh hey, you look nice today”… WHAT AN ASSHOLE!” you added to Mirka
“Yeah, I kind of know Maggie. You’ve told me a million times” she said, sounding kind of annoyed
“Well, you know, it’s not really nice from him…” I began, but then I stopped because we got to the canteen, and I had to think about what to buy. After we left, Mirka steered the
conversation back to that mysterious Rado.
“Soooooooooooo you like him?” she asked, AGAIN
“Mirka, I saw him for half a second.” I rolled my eyes, biting into my chocolate bar
“Buuuuuuut you like him?” she inquired further
“I don’t know alright?!?!” I half-yelled, because I was kind of pissed off with Mirka at the moment
“Okay calm down… I was just kidding. I’ll ask him if he wants to meet you today though” she winked a devilish smile appearing on her face, which meant she was up to something
“Whatever” I waved it off, and focused on my chocolate bar and Jacob. AGAIN.
