I went back inside.

"Maya!" I yelled "D!" she screamed back

"hey its been like forever" she told me. "oh i know i have missed you"i told her.

"i have missed you too" I told her. we hugged.

"So where are the boys and whats going on between you and nick??" Maya asked me

"Nothing is going on between me and Nick" I said. We went to the back yard, I guess the game was over because nicks arms were instantly wrapped around my waist and he kissed me

"You call that nothing?" Maya asked sarcastically, and I smiled.

Maya pulled me out of nicks arms and into the kitchen

"When did you two start... I did not know you two... when did this happen?" Maya asked me

"We started dating my freshman year." I told her

"wow.... about time right? Nick always had a huge crush on you..."

What Nick told me.... I guess it was true...

"Really...?"

".... yeah...." Nick came into the kitchen and grabbed me

"thanks for stealing my girlfriend..." He told Maya

"Whatever." She lightly punched Nick's arm.

Maya so happened to be Nicks other best friend. Of course I loved her with all my heart... but... sometimes I thought she would always get too close to Nick.

It was obvious she liked him.

"Hey... uh D... can we talk for a sec?" Joe Asked me

"uh yeah.."

Nick eyed him until we both were out of sight.

"Nick.... it could be a perfect time for us to talk.." Maya told me

"uhm.. what about?" I asked

"I dunno, just catch up..."

" uhh.." I looked toward the front door then back at Maya

"oh..k.."

We both sat on the couch

Joe's Pov

I looked at D. She was so beautiful. I grabbed a strand of her hair..

"Joe...."

"oh yeah... talking.." She laughed a bit

"yeah... what did you wanna talk about?"

"... yeah.. uhm...Talking.. right... so... how are you?"

"Joe?"

"ok.. so... I just want to talk to you...about.. ok well you know... You.. uhh kissed me.. when I was over your house..."

"... oh uhh yeah"

"...so... why'd ya do it?" I asked her

Maya's pov

Nick and I were sitting on the couch, he looked amazing... the way he had a curl hanging in front of his face... the way his eyes...

Oh maya snap out of it! He has a girlfriend.

"uh... so... hows.. uhm life?" he asked me

"its good... I missed you.." I just told him that?

"uh.... yeah me too.."

" well I mean you and D... and everyone.."

"yeah..."

"uhm... so... you really like D, huh??"

"uhh.. no... I don't like her.... I love her."

"ohh yeah right.. thats good"

"yeah... so what about you? Are you dating anyone?" he asked me

"nope.."

"oh."

"hmm in the moment?" he asked

"what are you thinking?" I asked Joe

"I'm just thinkin.. that we can make this a moment"
