Chapter Nine;
We got to their house, Nick kept staring at Joe.. like he hated him. Joe went inside and I stopped Nick
" Hey..." I said but Nick kept looking down
"Nick..." I began
"What?" he never looked up
"You can't blame Joe..." He looked at me and he exploded
"WHY NOT? IT'S ALL HIS FUCKING FAULT MY BROTHER IS FUCKING DEAD D! IT'S ALL HIS FAULT! I WILL BLAME HIM UNTIL I FUCKING DIE D!" He yelled
I looked to my right, Joe was standing in the doorway.. tears in his eyes...his keys were in his hand and he walked out the door and got in his car and I assumed he was going to the hospital to see if his brother was alright.
"I can't believe you" I told Nick
"ME? WHAT ABOUT YOU? YOU SAW EVERYTHING AND YOUR STILL ON HIS FUCKING SIDE!?" He yelled a little louder and I lost it
" YOU THINK HE MEANT TO KILL HIS BROTHER?" I screamed.
I was so mad at Nick.. I've never been mad at him like this my whole life. I was livid.
" MIGHT AS WELL HAVE! HE NEVER REALLY CARED ABOUT KEVIN! HE DOESN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT ME! ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS HIMSELF!!" He yelled
" HOW COULD YOU EVEN SAY THAT! GOD YOU'RE SO STUPID NICK!" I yelled back
" ME.. WHAT ABOUT YOU?"
I turned and started walking to go back home, I didnt care how long it would take me I wanted to get away from Nick.
"WHAT YOU'RE JUST GONNA WALK AWAY FROM THIS THEN LATER TONIGHT... CALL ME AND TELL ME YOU'RE SORRY? JUST BECAUSE YOU DAD DIED YOU EXPECT EVERYONE TO FEEL SORRY FOR YOU! WHAT ABOUT ME HUH?" He yelled and then he crossed the line
"Fuck you Nick." I said and I started walking away.
His expression changed drastically.
"Destiny. Baby" He said catching up with me and trying to grab my hand but I didn't let him
"I'm sorry. I should have never said that." He said as he tried to get me to stop walking.
" Babe, please... " he said softly
I stopped walking and looked at him. "I hate you." I said as tears rolled down my cheeks.
" No you don't boo..." He said trying to touch me once more but I backed away and he sighed
I continued to walk.
"Baby!" He began but I cut him off
"You're an asshole. I don't want to be with you." I said
"Destiny, stop. Listen to yourself. This isn't you." He said
"Goodnight Nick." I said
" So.. because of one fight... you don't love me anymore..?" Nick was crying
"No... I still love you Nick..." I said.
"Then why are you doing this, I love you" He said
" Hey..." I said but Nick kept looking down
