"He did it again...Didn't he?" My Mom asked in my room after dinner.
I nodded sadly.
"Victoria, why didn't you tell us earlier?"
"I don't know..." I sighed.
"I just wanted to help him Mom!It's bad, I mean, REALLY bad."
My Mom pursed her lips and shook her head.
"Do you still love him?" She asked, leaning in a bit.
I didn't hesitate.
"Not at all."
She looked shocked.
"Are you sure?I mean you were together for 2 years..."
"So what?He treated me like shit, I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life."
She went from shocked, to happy.
"That's great Hun.I'm proud.Do you still want to help him?"
"I guess, well, I mean, I do but I'm not sure he deserves it."
"I understand.But in the mean time..." She had a devilish smile on her face.
I swear, I got frightened.
"Oh boy...What?"
"Now, you can finally see Adam!" She said happily.
I groaned.
"Mom, I just got out of the worst relationship and now you want to fix me up with someone else?!"
"You've never even seen Adam!Give him a chance!"
My Dad knocked and came in the room.
"Hey Squirt." He smiled weakly at me.
I smiled.I missed my family.
"Hey Dad."
"Brad, please knock some sense into your daughter and tell her to give Adam a chance!"
"Oh yes, the Lazzaras are very nice people."
I couldn't help but groan again.
"Fine.But if this guy is an asshole, loser, prick, WHATEVER, I will NOT continue seeing him.Got it?"
My mother laughed happily.
"Great, I'll go give his mother a call!"
She walked out fastly grinning like the moron she is.
"This should be interesting..." My Dad said smirking.
"Oh shut up.And don't smirk at me!" I said sticking my tongue out at him.
He just laughed and walked out of my room.
I flopped down on my old bed.It still had my black sheets and purple comforter.
'Please don't let this Adam guy be a loser...I really need a good guy right now...'
