Incest is wrong... Right?

The queue for the check point was immence. The amount of people that wanted to get into Vancouver? I mean it isn't that big. Maybe the size of London and Manchester put together? OK It is quite big.

It took me an hour to get to the front of the queue, and in that time I decided to look at my phone. Dad hadn't called which was worrying. My mobile was switched off. Oops... I glanced at the screen quickly because veryone started to move forward. 6 missed calls;

3) Mum
4) Dad
5) Jane
6) Holly :)

Maybe I should ring dad and explain. Or maybe not. I couldn't be bothered to listen to him yelling down the phone. I'll ring Holly instead, and get her to ring my dad. He totally fancied Holly not just because she was beautiful, but she had the nicest personality to.

"Hey sexy" I said to my bestest friend

"Hi, how come you left it this late to ring me?" she demanded "Aren't you already at your dads?"

"Sorry, switched of phone, and No I am not at my dad's, because the plane was delayed five hours" I said

"OK" she said calmed down "What you want me to do?"

She knew me too well...

"Please ring my dad" I begged

"He might shout at me" she said

"Yeah right" I scoffed

"Fine" and she hung up

I had some serious making up to do. But at least it wasn't my ear he was going to shout down. Once I was passed the security checks it was easy. I walked into the luggage area, to collect my two bags (yes for a whole year I had TWO bags) hopefully dad would buy me some more clothes when I got there.

It didn't take me long to spot my dad camped out on a couple of seats. I guess he had just come off the phone from Holly. He seemed happy...

"Hey Kat" he said

"Hiya Dad, and It's Kat E" I said

"Nah, I'm gonna call you Kat" he said

He was never gonna give up on that nickname. I got it in Year 2 when I was 6/7 years old. Everyone except him had stopped calling me it. Great.
