CHapter 29: U-Swirl Yogurt
Ivy’s POV:
I laughed clutching onto Chelsea’s arm for support as Joe nearly squirted pop out his nose from laughing we are all standing around talking waiting for the banquet dinner and entertainment to begin. I’ve met so many people my head is swimming and I surprised Miley hasn’t popped out from somewhere yet. Spoke to “Look at Miley” Chelsea said disgust dripping from her voice
“Oh my god” I gasped looking at the girls slowly it clicked in their head “I have that same exact Sass and Bide dress. Damn it I was planning on wearing it to the show tomorrow” I whined pouting and crossing my arms as I took in Miley’s three inches from her crotch hem line(a good four inches short than my dress) and the wide expanse of flesh and lace bra showing in the front of her dress and she chatted and made her way towards us determination in her walk.
the boys turned and watched as Miley moved across the giant ballroom toward our group slowly her progress being stopped frequently by people wanting to chat “Wear it then” Joe said
“You will look way better in it” Kevin added
“I agree” Nick said wrapping his arm lightly around my hips and making me stand closer to him I smiled happily
“She looks like a skank you can pull it off tastefully” Demi added leaning on the table looking down and evilly glaring at her shoes making me burst out laughing everyone laughed along with me unable to resist
Silence hung around the group as Miley said in her annoying group “What is so funny? Demi? Selena? Nicky?” she drew out the last name trying to sound sexy despite Nick’s arm around my waist. The entire group sneered at her and the girls scoffed loudly before ignoring Miley.
“My feet hurt so shut your trap chica you were smart enough to wear not strappy heels” Demi pouted leaning more on the table I just continued to giggle.
“Do you think Ivy will go on stage tomorrow?” Joe asked scanning the group, but hesitating at Chelsea who smiled brightly at him
“I FORGOT!!” Miley cried obnoxiously “I came over here to tell you that I’m going to be a surprise guest singer tomorrow at the show” the tapped her forehead and smirked “Silly me”
Selena and Chelsea openly groaned and the boys’ faces screwed up tightly “What songs are you going to perform to night guys?” I asked softly breaking the tension.
Nick pecked my cheek and said looking in my eyes “A new song and When You Look Me In The Eyes” his smile was bright
“That’s our first memory” I laughed
“What?” the group asked as Miley fumed about a foot outside of our group
“At the Houston concert. Nick held my hand and sang to me that’s what pissed Sasha off and that’s what lead her to hurting me and deserting me and eventually that lead me to finding Big Rob and Denise. All it took was a song and a look, and now I’m the happiest any one could ever be” I smiled brightly at Nick
“That was you” he breathed out as I nodded “I should have known” I heard him whisper to him self as the group erupted into laughter and Miley fumed once again
“So Demi what are you performing?” Miley asked cutting off the laughter
“One and the Same with Selena and a new song called Here We Go Again I just wrote it a few days ago, and Selena is doing her new single Naturally” she said shortly
“Well I’m singing Fly On The Wall and Breakout two of my newest songs, but they took two of my songs how stupid are they giving them to some newbie” Miley cackled and everyone giggled knowing I was the one with the songs
“So Ivy what will you be performing?” Joes voice tried to control his laughter but was failing
I blushed as Miley’s eyes narrowed furiously at me and I mumbled “Hey Stephen and Simple Song”
“I’m sure you will do amazing especially since it is only your second time performing” Kevin encouraged and I swear steam spouted from Miley’s ears
“I need to warm up” she practically shouted and turned on her heel stomping away.
“Well she wasn’t a happy camper now was she” Chelsea said stepping a bit closer to Joe as the lights in the ballroom dimmed and the stage lights came on showing the head of the charity asking people to take to their assigned seats.

I sat trembling in the warm up area with stars all around me Miley had just started singing and she wasn’t half bad live. Next in the line up was Emily Osment who was so sweet she had given me a chocolate bar for my nerves. Miley came back stage grabbed a bottle and was ranting about how amazing she had done right before she left she said “Don’t choke it would be a pity” Emily rolled her eyes as she came off stage done singing her duet with Mitchell Musso.
“You will do fine Ivy I saw the you tube videos you’ve got raw talent Miley is just blowing steam” Emily smiled soft and went to change back into her dress. She grabbed my hand and lead my into the back where the other girls were getting ready Selena was missing and suddenly I heard her voice begin singing a beautiful song. Demi smiled and waved as she left the dressing room wearing a pair of Skinnies and a red top “Come on change fast you go on in about 15 minutes” Emily encouraged helping me slid out of my beautiful gown
“Hold it I don’t trust Miley” I said handing the dress to Emily who nodded agreeing as I slide on the short purple dress Emily handed me “My hair” I gestured to the formal kind of sloppy bun
“You look fine I’ll guard your dress just go perform Selena just got off” Emily said smiling sweetly at me. I nodded and scampered away Seeing Selena at the edge of the stage Demi walked off and grabbed a water bottle
“Boys want you to watch” Selena said grabbing Demi and my writs and dragging us to the front of the stage so we could watch the boys out of view, but they could still see us.
“Ok” Nick’s heavenly voice said threw the speakers “this is a new song and it was written for some one very special to me. You know who you are” he said smiling and looking directly at me. The notes began playing and my heart fluttered as I heard the song for the first time.

Let’s hurry and get you changed” Emily exclaimed she looked great she had put back on her nice sapphire blue party dress. Al the girls helped me back in my dress and we went to finish our meal.

“I’m craving frozen yogurt” Selena whine while taking a bite of chocolate cake and Demi started nodding her head so fast
“Do they have a yogurt shop in Vegas they must somewhere” Chelsea ranted causing her vanilla cake to go flying into the air and onto another table causing the little girl sitting there to break into a fit of giggles and caused the adults to glare at us “I’m sorry” Chelsea called looking like a tomato
I burst into giggles leaning lightly on Nick who quit laughing to stare transfixed at me “Someone” Selena shouted breaking our moment “Google yogurt shops this cake is dry” she huffed plopping her fork on her plate.
“Already on it” Demi said her fingers flying on her phone
“Yay late night yogurt my fav!!” I said clapping happily along with the squealing Chelsea
“There are like a dozen places that we can pick what time is it and how long till we all leave?” Demi asked scrolling on her phone
“well it is 11:30 now lets leave in like 15 minutes we can take one of the limos and meet mom and dad back at the hotel” Kevin offered Everyone nodded liking the idea
“But I look silly” I said glancing down at my floor length gown and my still pinned messy bun
“Wear the dress you wore onstage, but you look amazing Ivy promise” Chelsea said holding my hand tightly Selena and Demi both nodded from across the table
“I guess I’ll go change real fast so I wont get my dress dirty” I said timidly and stood up the three girls stood up with me after Demi handed Kevin her phone
“I really don’t want this dress to get dirty” Selena said caressing her cream silk dress and I nodded giggling. I stepped forward and took her hand in mine while keeping Chelsea’s tightly locked in my grip
“We will be back” Chelsea said dragging me along with Selena and Demi

Chelsea and Demi had stayed in their party dresses while Selena and I had put on our stage dress. The boys stood up when we came into site and Joe said “there is a place a few miles away called yogurt land and it closes in 20 minutes lets go” the boys quickly ushered us out of the now chatting ballroom after a quick wave to Paul and Denise we fought through the paparazzi in 5 minutes and were on the road. I sighed when the paparazzi began following and couldn’t help but shiver. No longer having on of my legs covered made a big difference in temperature. Nick shrugged off his jacket and gave it to me as we stopped outside a place called U-Swirl Yogurt I squealed happily along with the girls and pulled his jacket fully on.
We all stepped out of the limo and people shouted dogging the boys as Chelsea and I managed to snake into the yogurt shop giggling. I smiled at the stunned boy behind the counter as I walked to the yogurt machines. I picked the biggest cup and filed in up with original boysenberry, and chocolate. Chelsea was giggling and filling her cup up with cake batter strawberry chocolate and something blue. I looked at her like she was crazy as we walked over to the toppings.
I let my eyes scan the topping and tapped my chin I heard the door open and a crouching Demi and Selena raced to the Yogurt machines I giggled and continued looking at the options. I chose Strawberries, boysenberries (that were GIANT) and white chocolate chips. I couldn’t help but laugh as Chelsea added strawberries, pineapple, chocolate syrup, almonds, chocolate chips and skittles to her yogurt. I walked over to the counter and set my yogurt down and the balance along with Chelsea’s yogurt, which weighed like double mine “That will be $15.72” the cashier said with a smile. The cashier was cute enough and looked about 17 or 18
“My purse it in the car” Chelsea whined
“Mine too the boys have the money” I said biting my lips to see them still swarmed with girls.
“Take your yogurt ill just keep adding it up and they can pay when they get in here” the cashier smiled and pushed the yogurt towards us
“Thanks Chelsea and I said as Demi and Selena fought over who’s yogurt was prettier. We sat at a table the other two girls soon following and waited for the boys to enter, and they would eventually come inside but not for another twenty minutes.
