Chapter 31:

Nick’s POV:

We all stumbled from the plain yawning and tripping over our own two feet. It was 6 o’clock in the morning and CeCe was set to land in about 15 minutes. The family stumbled sleepily towards the arrival board and quickly found where CeCe’s plain was landing. Luckily it was in the same terminal about 8 gates down from where we were. “Big Rob, Paul, Frankie Chelsea, Joe, Demi, and Selena you guys go start gathering all the bags try to stay unknown” Mom said not even looking slightly warn out. They all nodded and disappeared towards baggage claim chatting softly, while Frankie whined about wanting CeCe, and the others were piling on disguises. Kevin and I put on our disguises as we began our trek to the gate. Ivy bobbed on the balls of her feet anxious to see the bundle of bright blonde curls as we reached the gate.

“Calm down” I smiled softly at her she nodded her head taking a deep breath

Ivy quit bouncing just as the high pitched squeal was heard “SISSY!!!!!” all heads snapped to the door to see CeCe’s white curls bouncing out into the terminal

“BABY!!!” Ivy screamed taking off toward the bouncing blonde curl. The girls collided and both CeCe and Ivy wound up on the ground crying hysterically and saying how much they missed each other.

Soon the tears dried and we all looked shock hearing the sarcastic but loving voice say “Isn’t that sweet and CeCe I told you not to terrify the other people” we all looked to see a smiling Ashlyn a large tote bag on her shoulder as CeCe and Mom giggled at our shocked faces

“Ashlyn” Ivy squealed standing up with CeCe she attacked Ashlyn in a hug saying “Why are you here?”

“If you want I can get back on the plain” Ashlyn said taking a step towards the still open doors “Nah Denise invited me who doesn’t want to go on a paid vacation right” Ashlyn smiled hugging Ivy again “I missed you girl” she went to hug Mom saying “Thank you Denise really” her smile was blinding. She hugged my then smiled shyly at Kevin giving him a quick hug “Now lets go get the bags” Ashlyn said quickly her cheeks bright red.

We all laughed as both Ashlyn and Kevin blushed just gazing at each other “Come on lovies lets go” Ivy giggled her hand wrapped tightly around CeCe’s. Ivy smiled at me and her who faces seemed to light up, her lively eyes seemed to shimmer and sparkle with even more life than before. This unknown piece of information had brought out every bit of happiness inside of Ivy, and the made me absolutely ecstatic to know she was so content. Ashlyn Smiled and wrapped her arm around Ivy’s waist as they giggled along with CeCe and we trailed behind following them to baggage claim.

Dad smiled greeting Ashlyn and CeCe with hugs. Frankie shyly waved at CeCe only to have her pounce on him screaming “I MISSED YOU FRANKIE!!”

“I missed you to CeCe” Frankie said swinging her around gently she was so tiny compared to him. She didn’t even reach his shoulder, and she looked years younger than him, but they were cute together.

“Momma” CeCe said tugging gently on my mother’s top

I saw my mothers eyes widen and water slightly as she gazed down at the precious little girl “Yes sweetheart?” she asked lifting her up placing CeCe on her hip

“I’m sleepy” CeCe yawned leaning into my mother her heard resting on Mom’s shoulder

“Let’s get those bags” Ivy said rushing to the baggage carousel for CeCe and Ashlyn seeing as Dad the others had gotten all of our multiple bags “You do not want to see a fussy CeCe” Ivy said Ashlyn nodding gazing at the yawning child

“She is evil when she is denied her sleep ask the stewertist” Ashlyn said guiding us all to the carousel that began to move just as we walked up. Everyone laughed and began looking out for the three bags the girls’ had brought with them from Houston.

Nick’s POV:

“Ok” Dad said getting out his phone “The boys and Demi and Selena have a radio interview in an hour”

“No nap” Joe whined as we all stood outside the busy Airport waiting for Big Rob and the cars luckily no one had spotted us so we were almost in the clear

“No nap” Dad smirked “Ivy, Chelsea, Ashlyn, CeCe, Frankie, and Mom get to go check into the hotels and get settled then we will all go to lunch together at 1 o’clock before heading to tonight’s venue. Does that work for everyone?” He asked his eyes focusing one me for a moment.

Yeah’s an yes’s were yawned and nod’s were nodded as I glanced at Ivy wishing I didn’t have to leave her, but I knew I had to. I squeezed her hand when the limos pulle dup “Bye babe see you soon” I smiled letting go of her hand and moving towards my limo with the others.

Ivy’s POV:

CeCe slid into my lap as we sat patiently in the limo. Her yawn was mammoth as she snuggled gently into my Chest, while Ashlyn slid in leaning her head on my shoulder “You tired Ash” I giggled softly

“You know it” she yawned making me yawn also.

“How long till we are there?” Frankie mumbled laying his head in CeCe’s lap and leaning on my body gently

“Probably 35 minutes with traffic” Denise smile softly looking a little tired herself

“I’m just gonna shut my eyes for a bit” I yawned settling my head on Ashlyn’s

“Me too” Ashlyn yawned the two kids were already dozing slightly as the car took off towards this week’s hotel

I yawned while opening my eyes I gasped in front of me stood a giant stone hotel hat looked perfectly timeless. CeCe yawned stretching in my arms which caused the other two to wake up also “We here?” she yawned snuggling into my chest

“Yes miss” the driver said while opening our door “The Plaza hotel one of New York’s most well known and praised hotels” his smile was pleasant as he helped Denise out of the car Frankie and Ashlyn followed leaving CeCe and I

“Go on C” I smiled pressing her towards the man he helped her safely to the ground as I crawled across the seats so I could slid out of the car “Thank you” I smiled brightly at the man a his glove covered hand took my own. I felt shabby in my sweats and Nick’s old hoodie that was huge on me

“Denise can we hurry I look like a hobo” I glanced at the other girls they were both wearing jeans and nice hoodies Why didn’t I think of that I chastised myself for wearing this without thinking of the destination

“You look fine miss. Truthfully” the driver said smiling nicely at me he looked a few years older than Kevin maybe 24 or 25 He walked around to the trunk and began unloading our huge bags

“Thanks” I mumbled picking up a yawning CeCe as the bags were loaded into a trolley with a cute very young bellhop. He smiled seeing me looking at him, and he was ok, blonde hair and blue eyes but nowhere near as delicious as Nick. I smiled back before turning to Denise and the other “It is hot lets go inside” I felt the muggy summer city air sticking to the back of my neck

“Good idea” Denise smiled walking in leading the way she looked like she belonged here her dark curls shone in the hot summer sun she looked casual but well put together in her jeans and blazer, and her sunglasses made her seem mysterious. Chelsea and Ashlyn fit perfect with all the other glamorous teens rushing threw the crowded streets they were laughing and gabbing about what stores they would hit this week. Even CeCe and Frankie fit in better than I did they stood by Chelsea and Ashlyn looking impatient and ready to go.

I took a deep breath and followed our chatty group into the timeless hotel I marveled at the old style beauty the hotel held. We walked towards Check into their chatter echoing in the cavernous room along with the other guests chatter. I looked dup at the giant skylight that covered and arched over the entire lobby it was breathtaking, I felt so tiny in this wonderous place of glitz and glamour.

We all arrived at the check into counter and Denise smiled removing her over sized glasses “Jonas” she asked sweetly

“I-uhh-I” The young woman behind the counter gaped

An Older man with gray hair pressed her away ad said “Tatiana go check in the other guests” she nodded still slacked jaw looking at all of us “Hello Mrs. Jonas” He smiled a warm smile “I am Richard your family’s personal butler for you stay with us. I have you in the Royal Plaza Suite and the Royal Terrence Suite” He smiled before adding “Well, well, Lucky family you get the top three levels of the hotel. The Terence suite is levels 21st and 22nd while the Royal suit is the entire 20th floor.”

“Denise why do we have two rooms?” I heard my voice ask quietly afraid of echoing threw the room

“Well we normally only would have taken the Royal suite, but we have you girls we needed the extra beds” she smiled handing him her Disney credit card

“Regular rooms would have sufficed not the second nicest suite the hotel has to offer” I sighed softly picking up CeCe Richard looked at me curiosity filling his deep brown eyes

“Ivy you worry to much” Chelsea chastised

“Disney is paying it doesn’t come form the boys relax Ivy” Denise smiled wrapping me in a tight hug. I smiled a small smile watching as Richard rang up the card and handed out the keys

“These work for both suites and I gave you 8 is that enough?” Denise nodded and he said “Let me show you to you suites” Richard came out from behind the guest and began guiding us towards the private elevator. People kept looking at us as we passed by most were dressed in stylish designer clothes, but there were some tourists. I felt so out of my element here, I mean Ashlyn had worked most of her life, but her family was still very well off and she stayed in nice hotels on her vacations, Chelsea didn’t have to work a day in her life, but she chose to not be a rich spoiled heiress, even CeCe was used to having nice clothes and big homes. I was the only one who had experienced poverty of any type, and it showed.

“Thank you Richard” I murmured stepping onto the elevator. Chelsea and Ashlyn were chatting once again about their past visits to New York, Frankie was telling CeCe about the giant toy store they would visit, and Denise was chatting on the phone with Paul about where we should eat fro lunch. I wrapped my arms around myself and inhaled Nick’s lingering sent form his oversized hoodie

“What’s your name?” Richard asked me looking at me intently

“I’m Ivy” I said softly smiling gently at the older man

“Well Ivy, relax. You blend in perfectly you’re a beautiful girl in one of the most wonderous cities in the world enjoy yourself.” He smiled a grandfatherly smile just as the doors dinged open revealing a breath-taking foyer. “I give you the Royal Plaza Suite” we all stepped off the elevator and gasped this was incredible.

“Wow” I breathed stepping threw the doors “This is wow”

“Isn’t it my mom and dad and I stayed here once a year or so ago” Chelsea smiled softly looping her arm with mine

“It is giant” I muttered softly looking confused

“Bigger than most homes” Ashlyn said looking shocked, but not quite as stunned as I was

“You better get used to this Ivy” Denise said wlaking over to give me a giant hug “because this is you new life, and we aren’t letting you get away anytime soon”

“Thank you” I said softly hugging her back as we all walked into a giant luxurious living room “Thank you” I said again squeezing her tightly

“Do you girls want to see where you all will be staying?” Denise smiled sweetly

“We aren’t staying here?” I asked softly baffled

“Well no” Densie smiled “You will probably spend a lot of time here, eat here and that kind of thing, but you will sleep two a story or two up.

“Let’s Go” CeCe said excitedly “I’m still sleepy” she smiled making everyone melt slightly
