So My Life Begins Now, Thanks A Lot, Mom

Lexi's pov...

The day gradually moved on and the nauseous feeling didn't fade. The next morning was the same and this time I couldn't hide it. We'd come back from my house last night, both Jake and myself we're shattered and went to bed earlier then everybody else had done. Still I woke up, running into the bathroom, forgetting to lock the door. Sue walked in, when she noticed it was me, she held my hair and began to rub my back.
Finally it stopped, sitting down on the floor I covered my face with my hands. Her arms wrapped around me, pulling me into her embrace.
"Sweetie?" She mumbled, stroking my hair softly. "How long had this been going on?"
"A few day's."
"Le..."
"I know! I know Sue! This is bad, I can't even start to think about what the hell is going on!" I yelled frustrated, standing up.
"Do you think you could be pregnant?" She asked quietly, looking up at me.
"I don't know!I can't even think about what would happen if I was. We're not ready for kid's Sue!"
"Lex, you don't know that! I didn't think I was ready and look what happened! Lexi you've got to sort this out before it's too late!"
"I'm sorting it out Sue, I need to figure out what's going on first!"
Without waiting for a reply, I walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. Jake was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking at his hand's.
"Jake?" I muttered, walking over to him and sitting down. "You okay?"
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?"
"W... what?" I stuttered.
"You think I haven't noticed what's been going on? Lex, if you're not well then just say something."
"I'm fine! God Jake, if there was something wrong I would tell you!"
"Fine. I'm going to get ready for work." He stood up, grabbing some clothes and a towel before walking out of the room.
Taking a deep breath, I stood up from the bed, refusing to let any emotion overtake me. I made my way to the chest of draws grabbing a set of clothes and a towel, placing them on the bed, ready to go when Jake got back.

It didn't take long until we we're both on the way to work. Both of us still silent, neither of us wanting to speak first.
We made our way to the book store, where we stood for a few minutes before I kissed Jake before walking inside. I noticed he stood there for a while longer, before making his way to his own workplace.
The day went by quickly, Hayley had gone home sick, leaving the key's with me. Luckily it wasn't that busy, and lunch had soon arrived. The bell on the door, I walked out of the back room, a pile of book's in my hand's.
"I'll just be a second." I called out, not looking at the person.
Taking the book's to the selves furthest away from the door. Turning around after placing them on the floor, I noticed Jake sitting in a seat next to the desk.
"Hey." I said softly, walking over to him.
His head snapped up, all he did was look at me.
"I saw Hayley as she was walking past the garage, she said she was going home, so I brought you some lunch." He handed over a plastic bag that was in one of his hand's. Taking it, I looked inside, smiling at him I placed the bag on the desk.
"Thank you Jake."
A smile appeared on his face and he stood up. My eye's closed as he pulled me into a hug, I felt him kiss the top of my head before pulling away. My eyes opened as he began to walk to the front door.
"Don't you want to stay? For lunch?" I asked, wrapping my arm's around myself.
He stopped and looked back at me.
"No, I... I've got to get back."
"Oh... okay, I'll... I'll see you later." I replied weakly, trying my best to smile.
Nodding Jake left the shop, I picked up the bag and walked into the staff room, sitting down in one of the chairs. Struggling to keep the tear's at bay, I'd really messed thing's up so far.
The bell rung again, walking quickly out, I was hoping to see Jake. Instead, I saw Sue.
"Hiya!" She yelled, walking over to me, pulling me into a hug.
"Hi, you okay?"
"Yeah, I've brought something for you actually!"
Enthusiastic much?
Shoving the tiny bag into my hand's, she waited patiently for me to look inside. My jaw dropped, I looked up to see Sue staring worriedly at me.
"Why?" Was all I could say.
Pulling me into the staff room, Sue sat me down on a chair, crouching down infront of me.
"Because you need to know either way."
Huffing, I looked at her.
"If I do this, will we drop the subject?"
Sue nodded her head excitedly, standing up, holding out her hand. I made my way to the toilet's that we're in the store. I locked myself inside, looking at the test that was sitting on my palm.
Time to figure out what the hell is happening.
