The rays illuminated my legs
I licked the salt from my mouth
My hair swished back and forth with the changing wind.
In the sun I see you, is that weird? I see the memories we never had. I see our future that will never come; deep down i know that. They won't come. But when the top of the tree sways and the leaves flash the gold of the sun through their emerald, i still see us.
I see hope; i feel my stomach lighten and my heart climbs to the top of that tree and i can feel you.
