Why Would We Change a Thing?

He chuckled as I embraced him.

“You really do love me back?” he asked

“Of course!” I say

“It took you a few minutes to answer back”

“I was shocked that you would randomly say that to me!” I squeal

“It felt like the right moment” he said blushing

“Aw, Will, I love you!” I said it even louder now

I cannot believe Will just told me he loved me. He just doesn’t like me, but he loves me. It’s not just infatuation now, it’s more than that. He had feelings for me. This must be the happiest moment of my relationship with him.

“I love you more” he whispered to my ear

“Happy sixth month anniversary, Cassie” he said

“Oh my God!” shit, I honestly lost track of that! I forgot that it was our fifth month anniversary now! I am such a bad girlfriend!

“You forgot?” he chuckled

I gave him a sorry look and nodded

“That’s’ okay. Let me remember this time. You have always been the one who remembered these past few months. It’s my turn now” he laughed as he brought out a small box from his pocket

“So, since we are halfway to a year already, I would like to give you something a little more special” he grinned

“Will, you didn’t have to” I said as I eyed the box

“I want to, now open it up” he said handing it to me

I look at him then slowly untied the ribbon

My heart stopped a beat when I saw a beautiful silver necklace and a heart shaped pendant attached to it. I look up to him found him smiling at me

“Will... This is so, utterly beautiful” I mumble as I held it in my hands

“Not as beautiful as you” he said taking it form me and made a motion with his finger for me to turn around. I immediately turned around, so he could put it around my neck.

I look back to him and looked at the necklace which is now around my neck. I turned the heart around and saw that something is engraved on it.

“My heart is yours, take care of it”

I look at Will and I was lost for words to say. This is so sweet.

“Will, this is honestly the sweetest thing—“

“I’d do anything just to see that smile of yours” he cut in

“You will always have my heart with you as well” I smile to him then leaned in to kiss him.

We pulled away and I looked around. We were both in the car and he just randomly halted a while ago. Where can we be?

“Where are we anyway?” I ask as I looked around

“Well, I wanted to take you somewhere special and somewhere we can have fun so…”

“Oh my God, are we in a carnival?” I asked excitedly as I saw the fairy’s wheel and all the other rides

“Yeahp, I just thought you’d—“

“I love carnivals!” I squealed

He smiled “I knew you’d love it”

“Will! This is gonna be so much fun!” I exclaimed delightedly
