Why Would We Change a Thing?

I took a cab back to our apartment and in that short span of time, Will called me thrice. It was weird because he kept on saying sorry and asking about where I was already and if I was okay. I had to tell him to stop calling me and have fun with his friends. I mean, he doesn’t have to worry so much about me. On the other hand, it was touching that he was anxious about me. I finally arrive at our apartment and I quickly go up the building. It is quite cold nowadays. I shakily unlocked the door and stepped inside the warm apartment.

“Whew” I say as I take off my coat

I walk inside the living room and see Michael and Steph sitting on the coach, both busy watching whatever they are watching.

“Hey guys” I greet them as I enter the living room

“Oh, you’re here? Aren’t you supposed to be with—“

“They are having a boy’s night. And Michael I bet they are looking for you now” I tell him as I sat on a sofa across from them

“Aw, yeah, Sisky called this morning about that” Michael sighed “I guess I better go before they crash your apartment and ruin it” He smiled as he stood up

“Okay then. I just wish you could stay longer” Steph pouted as Michael walked to exit the living room

“Aw, sorry but the guys are going to kill me if—“Michael was approaching Steph but I cut him before he went further

“Okay okay, don’t do the lovey dovey talk in front of me. I guess this is my cue to exit” I laugh then stood up to go to my room “Have fun guys” I say before shutting the door

I honestly don’t know what I can do now. I am usually busy with stuff but it looks like I am vacant tonight. I thought I would be with Will the whole night so I cleared my schedule. I sigh and lay on the bed. Maybe I could use this time to get some sleep since I haven’t gotten any this past few days. Yeahp, I shall sleep.

In just a few minutes, I fell straight to sleep.

I wake up unusually early. I can’t believe it’s just seven in the morning

“What the heck will I do now? I slept to early last night” I mumble to myself as I roll around the bed trying to go back to sleep but I am wide awake as it is already.

I decided to grab my phone to text Will and greet him good morning. He usually is the one who greets me first because he frequently wakes up first.

Hey! Good Morning giant! Surprise! I woke up first!

I smile at my text. I always tease him as a giant because he really is so tall and sometimes he would tease me as a dwarf because of my lack of height. After a few minutes, my phone buzzed.

Oh, no little dwarfy, I woke up first. I was just about to text you but you sent the message first

Ha-ha, you just cannot accept the fact that I was first!

Okay then you were first if that makes you happy

Aww, you are such a gentleman! Anyway, how was last night?

Fine, Fine, though it could have been perfect if you were there

It’s a boy’s night William

I know, but I wanted it to be a Will and Cass night!

I smile as I read all his text messages. He was such a sweety. I am such a love sick puppy. I have to get a hold of myself before I get too cheesy and then people would find me completely weird.

“Hey Cass! Can we go shopping today?” Steph said barging into my room

“Ever heard of knocking?” I ask facing her

“You know I never knock except if there are other people in the house” she smirked then sat on my bed

“So, you wanna go shopping? For what?” I ask

“Hmm, I dunno. For Sisky’s party on Tuesday?”

“Oh my, it’s on Tuesday already?”

“Yup, and in case you don’t know, it’s now Sunday.”

“And the guys still haven’t contacted me about the party”

“Why? You’re helping with organizing it?”

“Yeah, Will asked me some help”

“Oh, how cute. He really needs you”

“No, they need a decent person to fix the party for them” I smile as I look for something to wear

“So, let’s go in an hour?” Steph announced as she walked across the room

“Okay. I’ll just dress up”
