Chapter 6

Gabriel’s point of view

As we walked back to Mitchi’s and my apartment, I couldn’t help but stare at Remi.

Her multi-colored hair wrapped around her face. Her eyes were half way opened and she was starring ahead.

“So what do you want to do?” I didn’t feel like being sarcastic, not now at least.

She shrugged.

We turned up the steps to my apartment.

“Well we could listen to music; I got a new CD yesterday. Or we could play video games or cards.” I said.

She shrugged again. I sighed as I unlocked the door. Taking Remi’s things I set them in a chair and flicked on the TV.

“Well you know what games we have, your choice.” I said as I set up the Play Station.

We ended up playing Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for a while before switching to a movie.

We watched The Breed, a personal favorite of mine. It was amusing to see Remi jump every time a dog came.

At a certain point I felt something light on my shoulder. Remi had fallen asleep.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her nodding off as well.
