In the middle of the table there stood a piece of the birthday cake left, being miserable much of a ruin after having had a heap of six year olds attacking it. Though it was still obvious that it had been looking good for a couple of hours ago, which he had made sure to tell Eric; knowing the boy had been freaking because believing the cake looked awful, and that the other parents surely must do a better job on it.
