Emily's Point of View
"Bye, Selena." I murmered, tiredly.
"Bye, Em."
We were all worn out. Tired, and excited.
Brian ended up driving, insisting upon it.
After Selena got out I realized that the car was empty, except for Brian and I.
I sighed.
"You tired?" Brian asked.
"Yeah, pretty exhausted."
"You did take a pretty long walk today."
"About that," I sighed again, "Um, I need to talk to you."
"I'm listening."
I wasn't sure what to say, or how to say it. I knew I needed to tell him, though. He was my brother and my bestfriend. He deserved to know that his sister was dating his bestfriend.
That sounded terrible.
"Did you fall asleep, Em?" he asked.
"No."
"What did you want to talk about?"
"Bribo, I'm dating Alex." I blurted.
I watched his arm tense up a little.
"I guess I saw that coming." he muttered.
"Are you mad at me?"
"Nope."
"Are you mad at Alex?"
"Nope. Sure, it's a little weird. But I trust Alex with you."
"So, you're okay with this?" I inquired again.
"Yes, ma'am." he reassured.
I reached over the console and wrapped my arm around him.
"Thanks, Bribo." I said into his shoulder.
