The Wakko Werewolves
Chapter 20
Tyler was out like a light and when we finally had a chance to slow down and check on his condition it wasn't so good.
"What should we do?" Amy asked.
"He's not a werewolf, so he's not healing we might have to take him to the hospital." I said.
"What if the wolves follow us there?" Beth asked.
I looked at Tyler and I saw his eyes flicker. They flew open and he sat up.
"Tyler are you okay?" I asked him.
"My head is spinning, what happened?" he asked.
"You got slapped in the face by one of Kyle's pets." Amy said.
He was about to touch his face.
"Don't touch it, you could infect it." I said to him holding his hand.
"I brought a first aid kit, it's in the glove compartment." Tyler said.
I rubbed his hand looking at his bleeding cheek.
"Cassie you okay?" Beth asked me as Amy got out of the truck's bed to get the first aid kit.
"Uh yeah, I guess seeing the blood on Tyler's face freaked me out." Or made me really hungry just now.
Amy handed me the kit.
"Why don't you do it?" I asked her.
"No way, I don't touch blood." she said.
"It's just like putting a bandage on a wound. How about you, Beth?" I asked her.
"Sorry you can do this. I faint at the sight of touching blood." Beth said.
"Are you kidding me, what's wrong?" Tyler asked me sitting up.
"It's okay, I'll do it just relax." I told him and lied him back down.
I opened the first aid kit and took out the peroxide and cotton balls. I dabbed the blood from his cheeks after cleaning up the blood the scars actually didn't look that bad.
I pulled out a couple gaze strips and placed them on his cheek and used the medical tape to hold them down.
"Better, how are you feeling?" I asked him.
"Like I was clawed in the face by a werewolf." he said.
I just smiled at him.
"Okay, doctors I believe we're done with the patient now lets get back on the road before the werewolves get a whiff of Tyler's blood." Amy said.
"It won't be long." I muttered as they got into the truck.
Tyler sat up and rested his head on the back of the truck I sat next to him as it roared to life.
"You were looking at me as if you were going to eat me when you were doctoring me." he said.
"I didn't eat you now did I?" I asked him.
"No I think there were too many witnesses." he said.
I sighed. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
"I'm just kidding." he said.
