My Life As Sienna Brown
Part 91
I hadn't slept at all that night. I'd stayed up listening to the pattern of Heather's worn out, sleeping breath. I wished that my phone would ring, despite the time of night. I laid on my side, looking at it, as if it would go off at any moment.
Butthen I got tired of waiting anf flew the covers off and I grabbed it and headed downstairs before I quietly dialed Frank's number.
"H- hello," he answered groggily.
"Hi," I said in an almost worried tone.
"What's up," he asked.
"I just couldn't sleep."
"Is something wrong?"
"No... I just can't sleep. Kind of lonely, I guess."
"Well... you wanna come over here?"
"I'm already at Heather's."
"Is she sleeping?"
"Yea, " I whispered. "I don't want to wake her up. She couldn't sleep either... she's kind of worried about her and Mikey. Frank, I feel bad for her."
"You sound worried. Anna- you need to relax. Come over here for a bit. Heather's sleeping anyways."
I debated before I answered, "Alright, leave your window open, I'll be over in a bit."
"Alright."
