Looks Can Be Deceiving

Go-Karts and Massages

Taylor rubbed her eyes and looked around. Huh, that’s funny. This isn’t the club. She must’ve passed out and gotten taken home. At least she was in her own hotel room and not some stranger’s.

She made her way out into the living room, straightening out her clothes from last night. Her eyes widened when she saw the tangled mess of people across the couches. Two of the guys were holding each other like lost lovers, Trista was leaning on the short guy and had Brian in her lap, and Abbi was curled up with the big muscley guy. Taylor wished she wasn’t so drunk last night that she couldn’t remember any of their names.

She thought it was best to wake Abbi first, since she appeared to be the easiest to get out. Taylor found herself to be wrong when she made her way around the couch and found the guy’s arms around her tightly. She chuckled a bit to herself; the two looked like a couple.

“Abbi, Abbi!” Taylor whispered, gently shaking Abbi to try to get her attention. Abbi didn’t flinch a bit, but the guy holding her groggily opened his eyes and looked at Taylor, wondering what she was doing. He opened his eyes normally when he recognized her.

“Hey! You’re that one twin, Taylor,” he said, his voice laced with sleep.

“Yeah. And you are?” Taylor asked, rather rudely. She wasn’t trying to be, but she wanted to know why this guy who looked like M. Shadows was holding Abbi as if his life depended on it.

He looked at her confused, “Matt. You met us at the club last night?”

Taylor’s brain finally clicked and she realized he actually was M. Shadows, “Oh! Yeah right, sorry! I couldn’t really, uh, remember.”

“It’s alright. Glad to see you’re doing fine,” he said.

“Are you crazy? I’ve got a killer hangover, can’t remember last night, and then I find Avenged Sevenfold sleeping in my room. I’m not really fine.” She gave a small laugh.

Matt gave her a small smile, and then realized he was still holding Abbi, “I should probably wake her up, huh?”

Taylor looked at her, “Yeah. That’d be a good idea.”

“Abbi! Wake up!” Matt said, shaking her like Taylor did before. Only this time she actually woke up. Taylor scoffed, of course. She would only wake up to him.

“Huh? Wha?” Abbi looked around, still half asleep, “where am I?”

Matt laughed, “In your hotel room.”

“Oh.” She looked down, “you do realize you’re still holding me, right?”

He tensed up and retracted his arms from Abbi, allowing her to get up and stretch, “Sorry about that.”

She smiled, “It’s fine. I quite liked sleeping on you, Sergeant Cuddles.”

The two of them shared a laugh while Taylor looked at them stupidly. Maybe Abbi would tell her later.

Matt looked around, “Maybe we should wake everyone else up.”

“Okay. You do that. Me and Taylor are just gunna change,” Abbi said, walking towards the bedroom, “and tell Trista to join us when you wake her up.”

He stared blankly at her. Was she actually ordering him around? He was about you object until he saw the girls’ pleading looks, “Fine.”

Abbi smiled and walked into the bedroom, Taylor following. Matt sighed, what a way to start the day.

----------------------------------------

Abbi was the first to come out, dressed and ready to go. Trista came out shortly after. They stood near the door, waiting for Taylor.

“Come on, Tay! You don’t need to dress that good. We don’t even know what we’re doing today!” Abbi said, trying to reason with Taylor, who insisted she look great for today.

“I don’t care! I want to look nice!” Taylor said, though her response was muffled by the closed door.

Trista sighed and walked towards the guys, “So what are we doing today?”

The rest of the guys had gone to their room to get dressed, and the group had agreed to all go out and spend the day in Vegas together. No one knew what they were doing yet.

Matt noted how Trista refused to go by him or Jimmy. He thought that she found their height, or in Matt’s case size, intimidating for some reason. She was even keeping a slight distance from Brian, despite their ‘bonding’ last night. She preferred to stay by Johnny and Zacky.

Jimmy looked at Trista as she stood between the two smaller guys. It was like a ladder. Even with flat shoes, she was a bit taller than Johnny, yet shorter than Zacky. He thought it was rather funny.

“I have no idea,” Matt said. The guys shrugged, agreeing with him.

“Let’s go go-kart racing!” Taylor cheered happily, walking out of the bedroom suddenly and startling Abbi.

She held a hand to her heart, “Don’t do that!”

Taylor shrugged and gazed at all the guys, silently hoping they would say yes. “I always wanted to race with Avenged Sevenfold…”

Matt sighed at looked at the other guys. They seemed not to care. They were all just really bored, “Fine. Whatever.”

Taylor clapped her hands together excitedly which caused Abbi and Trista to roll their eyes.

She was practically jumping with glee, “Well then, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!”

-------------------------------------------

Abbi slipped on a helmet and jumped into one of the cars. This should be fun.

The eight of them were situated in all of the cars. Since there were only eight, the gang too up the entire track and had it all to themselves. It was probably safer for the public that way, anyway.

Brian smirked as he pulled into the lead, leaving the other in the dust. He laughed evilly until someone bumped into his car and he lost control for a second. He turned to see who did it and spotted Abbi taking the lead. She glanced back at him and stuck out her tongue.

Matt was racing as fast as he could to catch up to Abbi, seeing as she had done the same thing to him. He and Brian decided to double team her, so when she went around a corner, they were on each side of her, and as they slowly sped ahead there was nothing she could do to escape. She glared and turned her wheel to the left, causing Brian to spin in front of her and run into Matt, which in turn caused all three of them to loose control and skid off to the sides.

“You bitch!” Brian yelled at Abbi, yet couldn’t help but laugh.

Abbi stuck out her tongue again and crossed her arms as she sat in the car. Matt and Brian were getting out of theirs since the other five passed and were still racing, but Abbi refused to move. She was being stubborn.

“Come on, get out of the car,” Matt said, gently trying to pull Abbi out. She pushed all of her weight away from Matt and pouted.

He sighed. Could he do nothing right? “Please Abbi? Would you get out? For me?”

She gave him a quick glance before she shook her head, arms still crossed.

Brian smirked, “I bet you would get out for me, right?”

Turning around to face him, Abbi decided to play along with his game, “That depends. What’s in it for me?”

Brian acted as though he were thinking for a moment, while Matt just stood with his arms crossed also, narrowing his eyes at Brian, “What if I give you a nice massage?”

Abbi uncrossed her arms and leaned suggestively out of the side of the kart, “What kind of massage?”

He smirked at Abbi again, then turned slightly so Matt would see it too, “Whatever kind you want, baby.”

Abbi practically jumped out of the kart and into Brian’s arms, “Take me now!”

The two burst into laughter and Abbi clutched her sides while Brian leaned on her for support. Matt didn’t look amused.

Abbi noticed, “Aww, does Matt want a massage too?”

He pouted and nodded his head, walking closer to Abbi. She smiled at reached up to pat him on the head, “I’m sure Brian would love to give you one too.”

Brian looked at her, shocked, “Fuck no!”

Abbi shrugged, “Fine. He’ll just get one from me instead.”

Matt smirked victoriously at Brian, who walked away from the two and towards the finish line where everyone else was. Matt turned back to Abbi and placed his hands on her hips.

“So, what kind of massage do I get?”

“Whatever kind you want, baby.”

*Later that night*

Abbi let out a content sigh. She was laying on the pool table in the guys’ suite, since that’s where everyone was tonight, getting her massage from Brian who was straddling her backside, leaning over so he could reach Abbi. She didn’t think he’d actually do it, but when she complained during lunch about the backache she got from racing, he offered to give her one.

“Ahh, that’s the spot,” she said, resting her head in her arms on the table.

“I always know where the spot is,” Brian smirked, a double meaning to his words. He was rather cocky and conceited, but that’s why Abbi loved him.

“I’m sure you do.”

The others were watching House, at Trista’s request, since she couldn’t bear to miss the marathon going on all week.

Trista had reluctantly let Jimmy sit by her. He had to prove to her that he wasn’t a threat, and most importantly get her away from Johnny. That short shit didn’t need such a lovely girl’s attention.

While Jimmy was trying to smooth talk Trista, Johnny was getting to know Taylor, who found an interest in the one guy who was shorter than herself. She was Zacky’s height, but with the heels she liked to wear she was usually as tall as Brian. But she wasn’t as interested in Zacky.

Zacky and Matt had been talking to each other all night, mostly about the girls.

Matt cast another glance at Abbi, as he had been the entire time he was talking to Zacky, “I can’t believe she actually accepted his offer.”

Zacky shrugged, “Why not? He offered her earlier and she had a backache and-“

“I know the story,” Matt cut him off. Zacky shrugged again.

“Didn’t she offer you one?”

Matt nodded, “Yeah.”

“Maybe she’ll give you yours after he’s done.” Zacky said.

Matt opened his mouth to reply, but was interrupted by Abbi’s moan and a loud crack. He turned his attention to see Abbi smiling and Brian looking shocked that he actually cracked something in her back.

“Sorry,” he apologized.

Abbi shook her head, hazel eyes closed and still enjoying the massage, “No, it’s fine. It felt really good.”

“So I discovered,” Brian smirked, doing the same thing and causing her back to crack again. Abbi let out another quiet moan.

Matt glared in Brian’s direction. Zacky stared, amused by the two. Brian just looked at Matt confused, until he realized he was probably not happy that he was stealing Abbi. Not that she belonged to Matt, but he was pretty sure Matt had a thing for her.

“I’ll be right back. Stay there,” Brian commanded. She nodded and lay her head on the pool table again, looking like she was about to fall asleep.

He walked over to Matt and Zacky, “Care to have a turn?”

Matt stared at Brian strangely, “Sure.”

Brian rolled his eyes, “Come on, man. We all know you want to. Just go do it already.”

Matt opened his mouth to object, but Zacky put his hand over it, “Seriously, Matt, just do it.”

He nodded and walked over to the pool table and hoisted himself onto it. Abbi looked half asleep already. He doubted she would notice it wasn’t Brian. Matt straddled her back much like Brian had done before and continued where he left off.

Abbi let out another content sigh, “Matt.”

He stopped, “Huh?”

“Why’d you stop?” she whined, moving slightly and hoped that would make him keep going. Her back was sore and it didn’t matter who massaged it, it just need a good massage.

Matt continued, but couldn’t help but ask, “How’d you know it was me?”

He was sure she was smirking, “Your hands are bigger than Brian’s.”

Brian heard and turned around to stare at her with his mouth open, “What did you just say?”

Abbi opened her eyes and turned her head to look at Brian, “His. Hands. Are. Bigger.”

She smirked at him as he playfully glared back.

“You are such a cruel bitch.”

“She’s our leader for a reason!” Taylor piped up, looking at Brian and then Abbi.

Brian smirked at her, “Matt’s our leader for a reason too.”

Abbi looked at him, amused by his statement, “Oh? And what would that reason be?”

Brian wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, “Well, you obviously know he had big hands and-“

“BRIAN!” All four of the other guys yelled at the same time. They all started laughing and soon the girls joined in too.

“As much as I love having you on top of me Matt, it’s a bit awkward laughing with you there.” Abbi said, turning her head to give Matt a side glance.

He got off of her but as soon as she got up, he lay down on the pool table on his stomach like she was just a second ago. She raised an eyebrow. He shrugged.

“My turn.”
