Unforgiving Pain
Throughout the day, Akira had kept a close eye on Niana. He had a bad feeling about what was going and knew that something was going to go wrong today or tonight. At lunch, Akira had gone into the Boys’ Bathroom to make a call.
“Hello?”came Jareds voice
“Im sorry to wake you, but there is something going on with Nia and i have a feeling something is going to happen to her tonight and its not going to be good”
“What do you mean, something is going to happen to her?”
“She received flowers today and Michro had mentioned that it didnt smell like anyone from school”
“Allen” Jared cursed under his breath but Akira had heard him nonetheless
“Whose Allen?”
“I’ll tell you later, just make sure you keep her away from him. I know he has a plan and its going to hurt everyone that is close to Nia” Jared explained. The line then went dead and Akira hung up the phone. Now he knew that he wasnt the only that had a bad feeling, but he knew that Jared knew more about this than he thought.
Akria had walked out of the bathroom only to catch Alexa and Kitara cornering Niana. Alexa had pushed Niana into the wall causing her to drop all of her things
“Why dont you just leave them alone. They want nothing to do with you, your so pathetic” Kitara spat at her. Niana hung her head so that her bangs were covering her eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks
“They’re my best friends” she said weakly. Both girls laughed
“Please, isnt it obvious that you mean nothing to tell anymore?” Alexa asked, her hands on her hips.
“They dont care for you anymore, you’re nothing to them” Kitara added. Niana shook her head as the tears started to fall faster
“No, thats not true. They care for me” she started to cry. The two laughed even more at her
“You’re so pathetic it isnt funny” Alexa told her as she grabbed her by her hair and forced her to look at her
“Stay away from them. They dont care for you anymore. If you go near them again, this will get dangerous” Alexa told her in a hushed down as she punched her in the stomach and released her, watching her fall to her knees. Both girls had walked away but Akira stood there speechless for a few seconds
“Nia” he whispered. Niana had looked up with a tear stained face, attempted to get up, struggling a bit and walked away from him. Akira shook his head and rushed after her. Once he had reached her, he gently grabbed her hand stopping her
“Please go away”
“No, Im sorry for what they did”
“You just stood there and watched them do that to me.....why?” she started to cry again
“I didnt know what to do....I didnt think they were going to hurt you”
“No. You and Michi already did that” She whispered, hurt ringing through her voice as she pulled away from him and walked away. Akira stood there dumbfounded.
As Niana walked down the hall, she held her stomach. Normally mortals dont hurt her but for some reason, when Alexa hit her, the wind was knocked out of her. She looked ahead of her to see Michiro walking towards her. Worry spread across his features. He rushed over to her
“Nia what happened? Are you alright?”
“No”
“What happened?” he asked but she looked away. This caused Michiro’s worry to grow
“Please tell me what happened”
“Alexa and Kitara cornered me in the hall, telling me to stay away from you and Akira and that you two didnt care about me anymore”
“Why are you holding your stomach?”
“She punched me” she said in a low whisper
“Who did?”
“Alexa” she whispered. Michiro wiped her tears away.
“Why are you crying?”
“Because Akira just stood there and watched”
“Come with me”
“No, I dont want to be near him”
“It wasnt a question, Nia”
“You have your girlfriends that you guys care about so much” Niana said harshly as she pulled away. Michiro stood there and watched her walk away. He was pissed that Kitara and Alexa had done that to her. He had then turned around walked fast to find Akira and the girls. They needed to get rid of their girlfriends because nothing should get in the way of them and Niana. Their friendship meant more then being in a relationship that made them choose.
