My two Best Friends are a wolf demon and a Dark Angel?...cool

There standing with Michrio and Akria was a girl with dark auburn hair and brown eyes. Niana didnt know what to say. She was standing there in the sun light with her white wings out in the open. The other three sat there and stared at Niana. No one knew what to say. Jasper saw the panic in Nianas eyes and hopped over to her as fast as he could

"Niana, put them away" Jasper warned her. Niana ignored him and kept her eyes on her two best friends and the girl holding Michiro's hand. She couldnt believe that her father had told them where she was. She needed to be alone and away from them so that they couldnt see her like this. Niana felt her heart beat faster and faster not knowing what to do. She couldnt fly off in broad daylight but she couldnt stay there. She grabbed her backpack and as if Jasper read her mind, he hopping in the bag as she retracted her wings and ran off further into the forest.

~Akira's POV~

Akira stood there for a couple minutes after she left staring at the spot where she once stood. He couldnt believe that she was an Angel. It would explain why she had always looked up at the sky with a look that told everyone she wanted to be near the clouds. He soon snapped out of it and looked at Michiro who was looking at him

"Should we tell her what we are?"

"I dont know if she could handle that much right now"

"Shes scared as it is. I mean her two best friends just caught her with her wings out" Kitara told them.

"She didnt want aynone to know what she really was" Kitara added. Akria looked at Kitara and then sighed. She was right. But he wanted to make sure that Niana was alright. He shook his head

"Come on, we have to go make sure shes okay" Akira told them. Michiro nodded and looked at Kitara

"You dont have to come if you dont want to"

"Dont worry about me, I'll just head home and wait for your call" Kitara smiled before kissing his cheek and walking back to the street.

Akira and Michiro had looked everywhere for Niana but they couldnt find her. It was like she had disappeared. They had managed to find Jasper but he wasnt going to tell them where she had gone and simply told them that she needed to be alone. Of course neither of the boys liked that answer and wanted more than anything to make sure Niana was going to be fine. But if Jasper wouldnt talk, then there was no chance in finding her. The two had picked up the backpack and Jasper and brought them back to Niana's house.

A month had passed and there was still no sign of Niana. Everytime the boys would go to her house, her mother or father would tell them that she was sick and didnt want anyone else to get sick. But when they would walk away, they would see Niana looking out at them with tears in her eyes and then she would move away from the window. They didnt understand what was going on. Akira had ended up dating Momo Kimishima. She had waist long black hair and hazel eyes. She was always cheerful and on the cheerleading squad. Akira wanted to take his mind off of Niana and figured that Momo would do the trick. Michiro and Kitara would watch Akira with sadness and worry. They knew he wasnt taking this well. But neither was Michiro. He was usually out spoken and energetic and loud but now he was quiet. He kept to himself and everytime he was hanging out with Kitara all he wanted to do was hold her and cry. Something Michiro didnt do unless he was with Niana.

~Nianas POV~

On a rainy thursday after class, Nianas father was talking to the principal and Niana was sitting in front of the Secretary with her head down. She hasnt spoken since the night she told her parents what had happened. They had tried to tell her that it was okay but she shook her head and kept to herself. She didnt want to hurt her friends but she had a feeling that she already did. The Principals door opened and her father and Mr. Cougar walked out of the room to her. She looked up at her father who was smiling down at her

"Mr. Cougar has agreed to clear your attendance record and to allow you back in class today" he told her. Niana nodded and then grabbed her packback before leaving the office. Her hair had grown to her upper back and she had dyed it a lighter brown. She had walked to her locker, grabbing the things she would need and walked to her first class. Niana had paused at the door and then slowly opened the door catching her teachers attention. He smiled down at her

"Welcome back Miss Ortaga" he greeted her. NIana had simply handed him the pass and a note from her father. Mr. Dojo read the note from her father and nodded sadly

"I see, well you may take your seat" he told her. Niana bowed slightly and walked to her seat between Akira and Michiro but she kept her head down. The two boys didnt know what to say or what to do. Mr. Dojo had called Michiro and Akira out of the room to talk to them. Kitara sat at the back of the class and watched Niana intently. The way that Niana's head was down, she wasnt speaking and her stiff yet slightly shaken body said that she wanted to cry and that she felt like she did something wrong. When the boys came back in the room with Mr. Dojo they took their seats but didnt say a word to Niana as they were instructed. Michiro looked back at Kitara to see she was examining NIana and knew that once class was over, Kitara would tell them what she saw.

At the end of the day, Niana was at her locker and looked inside it. Once she heard Akira, Michiro, Kitara and Momo she snapped out of her daze and closed the locker and looked at the group. Momo was hanging all over Akira making Niana look away. Michiro and Kitara noticed Niana's reaction. Kitara told Michiro that she would be right back before running up to Niana who looked up at Kitara confused

"I know you want talk, I can tell my the way you keep your head down to avoid confrontation. But I wanted to talk to you about Akira and Michiro" Kitara started. Niana lowered her head again and shook her head

"They were worried about you and still are. When you didnt talk to them or see them for a month, they changed. Akira started dating Momo because he figured he could get his mind off of you because he was really worried about you. He figured that Momo would do the trick be everyone can see it hasnt. And then Michiro has become quiet and all he wants to do when we hang out together alone is hold onto me and cry into my shoulder" Kitara explained watching Niana's body freeze.

Niana's breath got caught in her throat. Michiro had only cried with her because he was the only one he would trust not to judge him. He had always put on the tough guy act at school for her and everyone else. But when he was upset or heartbroken about something he would call her and have her come over his houseso she could comfort him. But she was used to Akira dating different girls. Most of them always had black hair and were popular in school. She didnt want to take Akira away from his happiness but when he needed her, she was always there for him with the biggest smile on her face. She was in love with Akira but couldnt build up the courage to tell him and whenever she did, he was always with a different girl with beautiful black hair.

"Akira is happy with Momo" Niana whispered so only Kitara could hear her

"How do you know that?"

"Hes my best friend. Plus when he looks at her, he has a smile on his face. Please tell them both I am sorry, if you'll excuse me" Niana said keeping her voice quiet before walking to the entrance only to have her father waiting for her by the doors. Kitara ran up to her

"Are you just going to leave them thinking that you dont care about them anymore?" Kitara asked. Niana turned back to Kitara

"Theres nothing I can say or do to make them forgive my behavior. But Michiro has you and Akira as Momo for now"

"For now?"

"Yes, Akira doesnt stick with a girl for long. Thats how he is" Niana told her before looking up at her father

"Are you ready to go home now?"

"Yes father" she whispered before taking on glance back to her friends. Kitara grabbed her arm

"Dont leave them like this, They cant keep hurting"

"They will be fine"

"How do you know for sure?"

"They are my boys, I know them better than anyone else. I believe in them, if you'll excuse me I have a doctors appointment to get to" Niana said quietly. Kitara released Niana and watched Niana and her father walk outside to the white 1999 T-top Chevy Camaro and then drive off.

Kitara walked over to the group seeing Michiro's pained expression, knowing he had heard the conversation because of his heightened senses. Michiro looked at Kitara

"What did she say before she left?" he asked. Kitara looked over at Akira who was looking away not wanting to hear it but she looked back at Michiro

"She said that she had a doctor's appointment to go to"

"For what? Nia's never sick" Akira told her. Kitara shrugged her shoulders

"Im sorry Akira, but she didnt say" Kitara said with sadness in her voice.

Later that night Akira had ran over to Michiros house knocking on the door repeatedly. Once Michiro opened the door, he saw Akira's panicked look

"Whats wrong?"

"Nia's dad called and said that Nia had to stay at the hospital for the next two days and wants up to come over now" Akira said quickly. Michiro didnt argue and nodded grabbing his coat and keys before leaving his house locking the door behind him. The two boys ran as fast as they could to Nia's house. They were scared that something had happened to Niana. Once they got there, Mr. Ortaga was waiting outside for them. His short shaggy silver hair moving in the gentle breeze of the night and his blue eyes watching them run up to him.

"Glad you two could make it"

"Is Nia okay?" Akira asked immediately. Jared laughed gently at how quick Akira's question was asked and nodded

"My daughter is fine, but come in...My wife and I think its best we talk to you" he told the two boys who simply nodded and followed Mr. Ortaga into his home where his wife Ivy was waiting for them in the living room. Her flaming red wait long wavy hair cascading over her shoulders and her piercing green eyes catching her husbands blue ones. Everyone sat down and Ivy looked at Akira and Michiro

"Theres something you need to know about Niana" She started
