Katie answered the door with that great big grin of hers.” Come on in!” she said. As we walked in, I noticed everything for our slumber party. Makeup, movies, popcorn, every thing just sitting there. “What do you want to watch, Kelsey?” asked Katie. “Breakfast at Tiffanies!” she shrieks with delight. We pop it in and see Audrey Hepburn appear on the screen. As we watch, we do each others makeup. Before we know it, it is 9:30 and we drift off to sleep.
I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. Me and Kelsey say goodbye to Katie and she cries "Please stay!" but I smile a sad smile and we leave and sneak back to my house. Before we can turn the key, Dad charges to the door and tears it open. “WHERE HAVE YOU LITTLE BITCHES BEEN?!” he roars so loud and menacing, that Kelsey pees her pants on the spot. “HOW DARE YOU PISS YOUR PANTS IN MY PRESENCE? NOW YOU WILL PAY!” he screams at Kelsey. He runs out of the room and returns with a belt. He starts pelting Kelsey with it while she cries with every hit. He stops a minute and drags me to his room and locks me in. All I can do is listen as Kelsey cries even more.
He finally orders her to her room for the night. I hear him putting the belt away and Kelsey limping up the hall in pain. I wait in my father’s room for my punishment. He walks in and I smell the alcohol on him as he sits down next to me. “Now for you.” He says, “You will whatever I say or you will suffer the same fate as your sister, understand?” “Yessir”, I reply. “Good”, he replies in a voice so evil, it sends chills down my spine “Now lie down on the bed”. As I lie down, I realize what is happening. He pulls my pants and my shirt off and unhooks my bra. He starts to kiss me as if I am a lover, not a daughter. I yell and kick and fight back but he is too strong. He starts to take off my panties and as I protest, I see him grab something by the bed. "Oh Abbey.”, I hear my father say. Before I know it, all I see is darkness

Sorry about the delay in the chapters. I have a life you know. The title is from "Shadow of the Day" by Linkin Park. Since the story is PG-13, I tryed to make this chapter as approapriate as possible so let me know if you are at all offended by it and I will revise and repost this chapter.
