Rollercoaster
Chapter 4
4:00 p.m
"Ooh! I'm so excited!" Anna screams as she puts on her mascara. "OWWWWWWWWWW!"
"Give it here, you're too excited! You could blind yourself and not be able to see Gerard!" I tease.
"NOOOO!" She says so seriously.
She looks at me and we both burst into fits of laughter.
"That's the Aimee I miss." She says, more serious. "I haven't seen you laugh in a while.." She trails off.
"Time to go, girls!" Anna's mum calls from outside. She's just like Anna. Always so cheery and happy. I wonder if my mum thinks about me... Probably not.
We pile into the car , and I can't seem to stop thinking about Dad. I glance over at the hell-hole across the street. I just hope that he doesn't come out of the house anytime soon. As far as Anna and everyone else is concerned, my dad's on business in England, and my Grandma's minding me over here in Jersey. What would they think if they knew...
