Chapter Four
I was watching TV in my room when my cell phone started ringing. I looked at the caller id and saw that it was Tre.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Erika, its Tre." He said
"Hey, man, what's up?"
"In an hour, Billie Joe, Mike, your band and I will be at my house. I decided that we all need to get to know each other better. Be there or be square." He said and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Alright, what are we gonna do?"
"Get trashed? I don't know, we'll find something to do."
"Sweet, I'll be there." I said
"Okay, I gotta go. I'll see you when you get here."
"Bye" I said and hung up.
"What to wear..." I said to myself and ventured towards my closet. It took me about 20 minutes to decide on what to wear and when I finally picked my outfit, I got dressed called Melanie.
She answered on the 3rd ring. "Hello?"
"Hey, babe, wanna drive me to Tre's house?" I asked. I really didn't want to drive if we were drinking.
"Yeah, no problem. I'll pick you up in like 5 minutes."
"Thanks, Mel." I said and hung up. A few minutes later, I heard a car honking outside of my apartment. I live on the first floor. I left my apartment, locking the door behind me and went outside to Mel's car. After I got in, I kissed Mel on the cheek.
"Thanks for picking me up." I said
"Don't worry about it." She said and we sped off down the street.
When we finally arrived at Tre's, we saw all the guys' cars in the massive driveway. We walked up to Tre's door and rang the doorbell. The door opened and Tre appeared smiling.
"THE LADIES ARE HERE!" He exclaimed. We heard cheering and we just laughed and walked inside. Tre led us into his kitchen where the guys were sitting on the bar stools surrounding the island. There were shot glasses and liqueur on the island. Typical.
After greeting everyone, I sat down next to Jake, across from Billie. Tre poured us each shots of vodka and we downed them quickly.
"So how is everyone?" I asked and I heard a chorus of voices saying things like 'good' and 'ready to get smashed'. We continued to drink and talked about random shit for a while until Matt had an idea.
"What do you say we make this more interesting? Let's play drinking games!" He said
"Let's do it!" I yelled. "What do you wanna play though?"
"What about 'Never Have I Ever'?" Melanie suggested.
"How do you play?" Mike asked
"This is how I play. Its real simple. Whoever's turn it is has to say "Never have I ever..." and say something that they never did and if you have done it, you take a shot. When you have taken 5 shots, you have to do a dare." She said
"Okay. Let's get started. Good thing we have high tolerances for alcohol." I said. "Who wants to start?"
"I will." Matt said. "Never have I ever had a threesome." He said looking at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and took my shot. So did Tre, Mel and Billie Joe. Just in case you were wondering, I am not a slut, I just got really, really trashed and was with two really, really hot guys.
"Okay, my turn." Billie Joe said. "Never have I ever set a house on fire."
"Fuck." Jake said and took his shot. I just laughed at him.
"You set a house on fire?" Mike asked
"It was an accident, okay?" He said, getting defensive. "I was 15. I forgot to turn the stove off... and my homework was near the flames.. and it caught part of the wall on fire.." We just laughed.
"My turn!" I said. "Never have I ever cheated on my significant other." No one took a shot. Impressive. I would've thought someone would've claimed they cheated because they were drunk or something. "Kay, Jake, now its your turn."
"Uh, okay. Never have I ever had a hangover." He said and we all stared at him in disbelief.
"What?! How!" I said, while taking a shot.
"How the fuck is that even possible!" Mel yelled
"I don't know. I just don't get them." Jake said
"He's not lying. Trust me, I know, being his brother and all. He really doesn't get them. Or at least he doesn't get sick from it." Matt said.
"Lucky bastard." Billie Joe said under his breath and whoever didn't take their shot yet, took it.
This went on for a while and we learned some pretty interesting things about one another. Billie Joe pisses wherever he is when he's drunk, Tre dressed up as a woman on numerous occasions, things like that, that we never would have shared if we weren't intoxicated. In our drunken minds, the idea to play Spin The Bottle sounded like a great idea so we grabbed the now empty vodka bottle and decided to play. It was Tre's turn first.
The bottle span in circles until it slowed to a stop. Pointing at Billie Joe. We cheered and they just gave each other a chaste kiss on the lips.
"Oh, come on, I've seen you two in pictures full on making out. That was disappointing." I said, half joking. I really had seen pictures.
"Your turn, Erika." Tre said handing me the bottle, refusing to acknowledge my previous statement.
I spun the bottle and it seemed to spin for hours. Finally, it stopped spinning and landed on Melanie. The guys cheered loudly and I got up and went over to Mel. I kneeled down in front of her and slowly, just to tease the guys, we moved closer to each other. I brought my hand to her cheek pulled her face to mine. We kissed for about 10 seconds and then we pulled away. That may not seem like a long time, but if you count it out, it is. The guys all had their mouths hanging open. We just laughed at them.
"That, my friends, is how its done." I said looking at Billie Joe and Tre. "Your turn now, Jake." I said passing him the bottle. I heard Billie Joe whisper "That was so fucking hot." to Mike, and I couldn't help but smile.
Jake spun and it landed on Matt.
"Ew!!!! Noooooooo!!!" Matt and Jake screamed at the same time. The rest of us just cracked up in hysterics.
"Just give him a kiss on the cheek, for fucks sake." Mel said. Jake did and he cringed afterward.
Mike grabbed the bottle and, after it stopped spinning, it landed on Melanie. They shrugged and he gave her a small peck on the lips, knowing she has a boyfriend.
Matt's spin also landed on Melanie. She's very popular tonight. They made out for a little while and I started thinking to myself about how cute of a couple they would be. They're perfect for each other. I'm gonna be playing 'matchmaker' soon. I thought to myself and smiled.
"Its Billie's turn." Tre said and took the bottle from Matt, giving it to Billie Joe.
"Here goes nothing." He said and spun it. The bottle moved so fast, it was just a blur. It slowly started to lose speed, before coming to a complete stop.
"Hello?" I answered.
