Keep on Pretending

Wedding

Harper could feel the nerves come to the surface as she was sitting there getting her hair curled loosely. She had never thought the time would come when she was really going to get married. Even though she and James had been together for a long time, and she had been engaged, and basically planning the wedding, she knew, deep down that she wouldn't go through with it. If you heart isn't in something, then it just won't work.

She glanced over and saw Ape getting her hair blow dried, while Gab's was being straightened. She couldn't help but to smile and feel the rush of butterflies.

"Are you nervous about your big day?" The woman doing her hair asked.

She laughed, "I'm not sure if I'm nervous, or just can't wait to see him."

The woman smiled and continued on with her hair. Once she finished her hair, she began doing her make-up. Harper felt like a complete princess. Her nails looked amazing, and her skin felt refreshed. Once all three of them was completed, they changed into their outfits for the wedding.

Ape gasped when she saw Harper walk out. It was just a simple white sun dress, but it was possibly more beautiful than anything she had ever saw. It had a V cut neck, and ended slightly below her knees. With her blond hair flowing down in loose curls, and her eyes lined with a light dusting of brown eyeshadow, she looked amazing.

"You look stunning." Ape said, kissing her cheek.

Harper smiled, and then they exchanged even more compliments as they went to the vehicle that was waiting for them. Harper was shocked to see a black stretch limo waiting.

"This is so amazing." She said, climbing inside.

The three of them sipped on wine as they headed to the house. She was just hoping that everything was taken care of. She didn't know if the chairs had arrived, or if Kel could really pull of preparing all the food.

"Stop stressing." Ape said.

Harper smiled, and decided to relax for the rest of the trip. She just looked out the window, smiling at the scenery as it passed by.

The limo parked by the gate about an hour later. Harper was beyond the point of excited. She knew that just pass that gate, and in the back yard was Bam. She more than ready to walk down the aisle, get the I do's over, and be his forever. She slung the open door quickly, and then smiled when she saw her brother standing there dressed in a fancy black tux.

Colby slipped his arm around hers and then smiled widely at his sister, "He's waiting for you." He whispered.

Harper could feel the hairs on the back of her neck rise as a huge smile curved into her lips, "Then let's go!" She said, nearly pulling him forward, he chuckled as they began to speed up their pace.

Jess and Gab was getting ready to walk down the small aisle between the chairs.

Harper was breathing in air nervously as Kel came to let her know that everything was in order and ready. Harper inhaled deeply.

"It's your turn." Chad whispered to her with a smirk across his lips.

She inhaled deeply and then stepped out with Colby. She surveyed the small group of people. The only person in the crowd that was here for her was her sister Ashley. She was sitting towards the front with a smile on her face. The rest was all friends or family of Bam. They each had a smile that welcomed her. She couldn't help but to almost cry when she saw Bam. He was looking at her with a grin on his face.

Slowly, she and Colby began making their aisle down the aisle. She didn't know if they was moving in slow motion or what. She wished someone would press fast forward to the point where she was standing in front of Bam, looking deep into his blue eyes.

She seemed to be lost in her thoughts because when she collected herself well enough, she was standing in front of Bam. Colby was shaking hands with him and exchanging Harper to him.

She didn't hear anything the man said, even though her lips moved when they needed to form words. She wasn't worried about what people were saying. She was only concerned with the look on Bam's face.

Once they said the two words each, she waited for his lips to come crashing down on hers. He pulled her close to him, and snickered, "I'm glad you stopped pretending, and began living." He said, before placing his mouth next to hers, for their first kiss as husband and wife. They was both ready to now embark on their life together.
