Even if you don't like the Killers, you can still read this. It's not all fanfic-ish. It's just a story...based on one of my favorite songs. This was written at 4:30 in the morning, and then re-written later. Actually, to tell the truth, it's my favorite piece to date.
And it's a one-shot.
