Something More

“Alena Bacaila Malfoy!! Get down here!!! Your going to be late!!” My mother yelled. I finished my look off with just a little eyeliner and went downstairs. My mother looked me up and down with a shocked look. Draco was also standing there, his eyes wide, and mouth dropped.

“Alena… What happened to you???” he said, looking over me.

“Nothing… Why?”

“Sweetie, you look nothing like yourself….” My mother trailed off.

“I got a tan… and I made my hair a little darker. No big deal.” I paused, looking at them.

“Your father would not be happy. Your lucky you’re his only daughter….” She sighed, looking like she was going to say something else.

“but…….” I trailed off

“but,” she smiled “I think you look amazing.” We both looked over to Draco, to get his thoughts.

“I don’t like it.” I sighed, but he continued after mother sent him a glare. “What?! I already knew I’d have to warn some people, but now I’m going to have to fend off the entire boy population in that school!!” I smiled and we laughed. Father appeared and looked over me.

“You look….. different.” He drawled. He and Draco left for the station.

“Come along you, or else we are going to be late.” Mother smiled, and we side-apperated to the station.

“Bye mom! I’ll miss you.” I smiled and we hugged. I was the only one who my father ever hugged, and I didn’t even think he was still here.

“Your has your stuff, so find him!! I love you sweetie!! Have fun.” She smiled and I turned around and entered the train. I started to look for my brother. It’s his 5th year at Hogwarts, my first year here(as an actual student. I came last year to cheer on my school in the tri-wizard tournament). I used to go to Beaubaxtons but, I really didn’t like it there. I’m going to be in my 6th year. I glanced in a few different compartments, trying to find Draco.

“Oh my gosh.” I heard, in a familiar voice. “Allie??” I looked around and smiled.

“Ginny!!” I yelled, We walked up to each other and hugged.

“Allie, you look AMAZING!!” she gushed

“So do you!! I love your hair.”

”Thanks, but, What are you doing here? I thought you went to Beaubaxtons..”

“I did, but decided I liked Hogwarts better.”

“How are they going to sort you?”

“Like everyone else. In the great hall, with the sorting hat.” I smiled.

“Come on!! Harry is going to freak when he finds out your going here now!!” She laughed. I took her hand and she pulled me to the largest compartment. She looked at me. “Wait here.” She whispered. Then went in. I started to listen to what was going on inside.

~ ~In the compartment~ ~

“Hey, I’m back!” Ginny said.

“We realize this Gin. You were depressed when you left, why are you all happy now?” Ron looked up at his sister.

“Honestly Ronald.” Hermione said(I giggled) “She wasn’t depressed. She wasn’t as hyper, is all.”

“So, Fred you had a girlfriend last year?” Chad said.

“Yea, I did, her name was Alena. We broke up. No big deal.” Fred said, cutting it short.

“Fred, stop lying. Her name is Alena, but all her friends call her Allie. He liked her the moment he laid eyes on her. We all became friends with her. The Yule ball came and I, posing as him, asked her to go. He asked her out that night, and from then on they were inseparable. The end of the school year came. Cedric….. well yea, and he broke up with her. Couldn’t handle who her parents and brother were.”

“Boys!! Pay attention!!” Ginny said, “I have a surprise.” She smiled, giddily. Everyone looked at her and she disappeared out the door.

~ ~Back to Alena~ ~

“Ok, you ready?” she smiled “I have to warn you, Fred is in there.”

“It’s fine… I’m ready” I walked in behind her.

“Well… what is this amazing surprise Gin?” Fred said, Ginny stepped away from me so that everyone could see me. It was quiet for a millisecond.

“ALLIE!!!!!!!!” Everyone yelled, standing up. I laughed and gave everyone a hug. When I gave George a hug I saw Fred, He looked shocked, a boy next to him looked over me then ;leaned into him.

“You broke up with her?” he said, emphasizing you and her. Fred, still looking shocked, nodded.

“Yea…. I did.” He stared at me.

“Idiot.” The boy stood up and walked to me. “Hey, I’m Chad. I’m new this year.” I smiled

“Me too…. Kinda.” I laughed “I’m Alena.”

“Can I call you baby? He smiled. I realized he was flirting and I decided to flirt back.

“You can call me whatever you like.” I smiled, my flirty smile. He smirked. George stood up and whispered in Chad’s ear.

“You can call her Allie.” He sat back down.

~Fred’s POV~

I watched as the boy my twin and I took under our wing, flirted with my ex. I couldn’t help but glare at the back of his head. I was feeling something deep inside and I just… don’t want to admit it. I don’t know why it hurt so bad, why it made me mad, I don’t know why but, I don’t like it. I felt a tap.

“Hey, isn’t that the necklace you gave her?” George said, pointing to Allie’s neck. I looked and sure enough, hanging on her neck was the necklace I gave her when I asked her to be my girlfriend.
