Don't Blame Me for Being Me

Don't Blame me for being me

Chapter 2
I’m on the way to mess myself…
So it was a weekend. It was a long-expected weekend I spent with Brendon. We decided not to go to any café or restaurant. We were walking along the ocean, along some beach. We were walking barefeet. We were blowing by wind. Our chat was going good. As it seemed we had much to talk about. We talked about travels and airplanes, about how amazing to discovery new places. I explained why Belarusians speak Russian. Because it’s second state language in our country. Most time he was speaking. And it was hard to interrupt him or just tuck some words into his endless (but interesting) speech. Sure, he has interested about what country I’m from. I was about to talk a complete history of my homeland, but Brendon stopped me in a right time. I can be chatty (well, I am chatty) too and he understood it xD.
So what we were doing? We were walking, running along tides and shore, falling on a sand and laughing, laughing… I must confess I love football (soccer, as Americans call it). imagine Brendon’s face when I said “Well, I have time for our…um…date until six p.m. Then I need to go home to watch soccer match on TV”. xD it was laughing. So I had to explain him my likeness to football.
Silence with him was incredible too. Not awkward hush when you don’t know what to say. It was just silence. Looking down at our own feet sinking into a sand and not talking were nice. Oh, and our kiss…it was awkward a little, odd and made me be frustrated, may be. I guess why. I wanted to feel too much in that kiss, I wanted much for just a kiss. Anyways it was ordinary kiss, ordinary nice kiss. I didn’t feel any passionate flash of unexpected love to Brendon.
So after some time I felt cold and preferred to invite Brendon to my house. Just because. Just it’s in rules of hospitality or whatever. And when he agreed and we began going to my place, I was trying to recall what look my living room had and what he and me would do there at all xD. I was hoping everything would be alright. We weren’t walking hand into hand and looked like there was nothing between us. As for me I truthfully thought so.
When I opened the door of the house Brendon and me saw Dasha and Ryan. They were sitting on a couch and watching TV.
“Hey, dude!” Brendon said after casual greeting. “I didn’t know you’d be here”.
“but I’m here”, Ryan replied and smiled.
So Brendon and me sat down at some armchairs.
“What are you both doing?” I asked them.
“Watching South Park”, Dasha said with a proud voice ‘cause it’s her fav movie.
“And talking, by the way”, Ryan added.
It was a hint at our coming that interrupted them.
“so we must go out of here?” Brendon asked smiling.
“It’s kinda it”, Ryan said looking at me and Brendon with a wish we’d go away.
I laughed and got up.
“C’mon, Brendon. Let’s go somewhere. This lounge isn’t the whole house”, I extended my hand to him. “we’re redundant at this anniversary of life”.
“yeah, c’mon, Brendon, c’mon get out”, Ryan became more cheeky.
We all laughed and I led Brendon to a kitchen.
“So there’s our kitchen. I think it’s the most comfortable place of our house. Dasha and me often hang here and not in order to eat even”, I explained making him sit down at some chair. “Well, wanna eat something?”
“May be. And what?”
“I dunno. Something’s from belarusian cuisine”, I said.
“it will be tasty?”
“it’s depending on the way you’ll ask me to cook”, I smiled taking a frying pan.
It was the funniest process of cooking at first, I could make Brendon peel potatoes and he was doing that not very successful. Secondly, for instance, when I wanted to pour some milk into a cup, he moved that cup and the whole table was in that milk! And he was laughing when I was cursing him. When I cut something (sausage, some vegetables or whatever) he stole some pieces to eat himself. So he was hindering me in everything but he was doing it with a smile you can forgive everything.
So when the dish was eventually made, we took our plates and made our way to a balcony. We took seats there and began eating. ‘cause a loud laugh from the living room could be higher than our one and we couldn’t bear it. so Brendon and me locked at the balcony eating, talking and watching nice views at valley. Sure till my football xD.
