The neville story
Sorting into Gryffindor
They walked up a great amount of stairs when they reached two huge doors. They're was an old woman standing in fornt of them seemingly waiting for they're arrival. all the first years got into a big huddle infront of the doors. The woman cleared her throat and began to speak
"Now in a few moments you will walk through these doors" Suddenly neville realized a small brownish thing infront of her croaking
"Trevor!" he yealled and walked right up and grabbed his toad. The women gave him a very stern look. "Sorry," he said quickly thoroughly embaressed.
"As i was saying, whilst your here your houses will be like your families. Your triumphs will earn you points," she paused "Any rule breaking and you will lose points" she finished her speach and left them standing in the hall. Just then a very blonde boy walked up to Harry potter and started talking
"So, its true then Harry Potter has come to hogwarts" everyone was looking around astounded the romours they heard on the train were true. Neville pretended to be surprised jsut like everyone else while not paying attention to what the boy was saying.

Harry Potters at Hogwarts this is so cool! I'm sure he'll be on gryffindor or perhapes ravenclaw. Not hufflepuff like me though he's got to be brave i mean taking on you-know-who when he was one! He's great i dont know if I'd like everyone knowing my parents were dead though i don't even like people knowing theyre in St. Mungo's
Just then The woman came back through the doors
"We're ready for you now" she said and they all went through the doors into the great hall. The ceiling had candles floating all over it and looked as though they were outside gazing at the stars. Neville heard hermione telling someone it was bewitched to look like the night sky ((she'd read this in Hogwarts, a history of corse)). Neville tilted his head back to where it originally was and saw four large tables across the room and one in the front. Then he noticed a small three legged stool with an old wizards hat. Suddenly the hat jumped up and started singing a song. When the song was done The woman Said she would call there names and they would come up to be sorted into their houses. Names were being read off and with each one neville got more anxious.
"Longbottom, Neville" she called
Nevilles heart dropped as he walked up to the stool. She placed the hat over his head and it slid down over his eyes because it was much much too big. Suddenly he head a voice saying
"Hmm, where to put you. Hmm, how about GRYFFINDOR!!" and just like that it was over and he was in Gryffindor. He skipped excitedly back to the Gryffindor table where people were cheering him on giving him High-fives, and pats on the back. They watched the rest of the sorting and Harry Potter was placed into his house! Then the feast began. There were tons of different foods and he began to dig in.
