Uninvited

Kaylene’s POV

We were back at VA. This time there was a huge crowd in the front. I looked at Gabe and he seemed as confused as I was. We got out of the car and a black tour bus pulled into the parking lot.

Um. Yeah.

Alpha came out the back and the tour bus started to park. She ran up to Gabe and gave him a hug. He smiled and hugged her back. I want a hug.

I felt arms wrap around me, “There’s your hug.”

I smiled, “Thanks Alex.”

The tour bus door opened and four guys came out. Alpha removed herself from Gabe and walked up to the guy in the front.

He questioned, “Alpha?”

“Chris?”

His Australian accent came through, “Yes.”

She smiled at the rest of the guys, “Welcome to VA. You are few hours early.”

Chris laughed, “I think more then a few.”

She nodded and smiled, “Why don’t you guys come in and we can get you some real food. Its closing time so people are leaving.”

The four guys walked with Alpha into the club. We all looked at each other and we all had confused faces. Out of no where Gabe smacked himself in the face, “I know who they are!”

Pete asked, “Who?”

“Jet. They’re on tour and Alpha paid for them to come tomorrow night.”

Alex smiled, “Wait! The guys that do ‘are you going to be my girl’?”

Gabe nodded.

Alex beamed, “Awesome! I love that song.”

I looked at him, “You’re impossible.”

He glared, “Bite me.”

“I thought you were the vampire.”
*******Next Night********
Alpha’s POV

I walked up to the counter and say a familiar face, “Hey Gerard.”

He turned towards me, “Hey sugar, how are you tonight?”

“Pretty good. I heard you crashed into the Dandies.”

Gerard smiled and leaned over the bar, “You were the one that called me to do so.”

I smiled, “I know. I appreciate it Gerard. I really do.”

“Sug, you know I’ll do anything for you. Hell, I’ll do anything to piss off William.”

“Gerard!”

Gabe came up with Kaylene. They exchanged high fives and Kaylene sat as far away from Gerard as she could. I smiled and watch my Gabe sit next to Gerard. They went into their own little world and I wondered over to Kaylene.

“You alright hun?”

She looked up at me, “Yeah…”

“Hey, I’m sorry for the way I acted. I-…I just don’t want to die.”

“I know. So Gerard is your friend?”

“Yea we go way back. He’s a family friend.”

“That’s cool. I guess.”

“He didn’t get to rough with you did he?”

“No. Frank on the other hand is kind of creepy.”

I laughed, “That’s Frank for you. I love him though. A nice guy.”

“Hey Babe?”

I looked at Gabe, “What Gabe?”

“We should let Gerard open for Jet tonight.”

I tilted my head to the side, “Do you guys have instruments?”

Gerard smiled, “I can get some.”

“Last time I knew you could barely play guitar!”

“I can have a band if I want to! I can sing!”

I rolled my eyes, “Fine…Do what you want.”

Gerard and Gabe high fived and Gerard left. I looked at the entrance and Alex was coming through the doors. He practically ran up to me and he look at Kaylene then me. He looked nervous.

I spoke softly, “Alex? What’s wrong?”

“William is outside.”

I looked at Kaylene, “Go upstairs and lock the door. Don’t open the door.”

She took off and I walked around the counter. Alex and I walked out of the club as fast as I could go and sure enough there was William. He looked pissed. I walked up to him and Alex was at my side. Ok I was a little scared.

“Where is she?”

He was pissed!

“She’s not here. Leave William.”

His voice got louder, “Where is she?!”

I snapped back, “Not here! Get the fucking clue! Go home William!”

He walked right up to me, “You better hope you’re telling the truth.”

“Leave Beckett.”

“I am.”

And he did.

That was close.
