When Will The Tide Turn

Layla was broken, there is no other way to describe it. Completely alone in a world with nothing but pain she finds herself relying on imaginary friends and self inflicted pain. The only time Layla ever thought through her problems was in her sleep. Were her dreams had all the power. No matter how loud she screamed, how hard she thrashed, or how many tears she cried. She was forced to pick through the open wounds that she tried so hard to turn her back on. Sadly it looked as if there was no saving Layla, but maybe there was a way it was just purposely over looked because of sheer ignorance. Layla was an innocent soul, tricked into believing she had no place in the human race because she had no place in the hearts of those close to her. Nevertheless Layla was beloved, just not by the individuals who held the marionette strings controlling her existence.
